Presenting a house of compassion to a family in extremely difficult circumstances in Viet Lam commune.

On December 10th, the People's Committee of Viet Lam commune, in coordination with the Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK) Hanoi branch and the COPION organization, held a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over charitable houses to two disadvantaged families with meritorious service to the revolution in the area.

Representatives from the Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK) Hanoi branch presented a charitable house to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoi's family in Duoi village, Viet Lam commune.

Two families in Viet Lam commune received support for house construction: Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoi's family (Dui village) and Mr. Nguyen Van Vui's family (Hat village). Both are families receiving government assistance, families with revolutionary merit, and victims of chemical warfare with difficult circumstances. Each family received 100 million VND to build a sturdy house, ensuring stable and long-term living conditions; they also received an additional gift worth 500,000 VND.

This project is part of the Housing Support Program for disadvantaged families and families with meritorious contributions to the revolution in the former Vi Xuyen district, funded by the Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK) Hanoi branch through the COPION organization. Through this project, many families have gradually stabilized their lives and improved their economic situation. Supporting the construction of sturdy housing not only helps families settle down but also demonstrates the deep concern of the business community and international organizations for vulnerable groups, contributing to the effective implementation of the Party and State's social welfare policies.
