Japanese businesses award 20 scholarships to students of Da Nang University.

DNO - On the afternoon of December 11th, Da Nang University held a scholarship awarding ceremony for students, sponsored by the Japan Federation of Economic Organizations (Keidanren) and the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (JCCI).

The Keidanren and JCCI scholarships have been continuously maintained for the past 25 years.

This year, 20 students from Da Nang University were honored to receive this scholarship with a total value of 140 million VND (7 million VND per scholarship).

The scholarship is awarded to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who strive to achieve excellent results in their studies and training.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Tran Huu Phuc, Vice Chairman of the University Council of Da Nang, said that over the past 25 years, the Keidanren and JCCI scholarships have helped students focus on their studies and achieve high academic results.

Many scholarship recipients have graduated and contributed to the development of businesses and society, serving as a bridge of friendship between Vietnam and Japan.

On this occasion, Da Nang University proposed that Keidanren and JCCI continue to expand scholarship programs and professional development programs, as well as enhance students' understanding of Japanese business culture and work environment.

At the same time, it creates internship and career experience opportunities for students and young faculty and staff at Japanese companies in Vietnam and in Japan.
