Today, the price of silver on the world market rose by nearly 2%.
As of the morning of December 11th, the spot price of silver in Asia opened at $61.81 per ounce, up $1.14 per ounce from the previous session. The previous session's range was between $60.10 and $61.95 per ounce, indicating continued buying pressure. By 6:30 AM Hanoi time, the price of silver edged up to $61.82 per ounce, maintaining a slight upward trend.
On December 10th, silver prices surged to nearly $62 per ounce, extending a strong upward trend as the metal has risen more than 100% since the beginning of 2025. Silver's appeal stems from expectations of limited supply coupled with high industrial demand, particularly as the US classifies silver as an essential mineral and intensifies its search for new sources.
Furthermore, silver is becoming a "softer" safe-haven option compared to gold as the market seeks to diversify its portfolio and take advantage of its still-lower price than gold, despite a similar positive upward trend.

Domestic silver prices increased across the board today at major brands.
