Nguyen Thi Thu Ngan was born in 2003 in Ca Mau province . She graduated with a degree in Public Relations from Nam Can Tho University. She is 1.72m tall, with measurements of 82-59-92. Before being selected to compete in Miss Intercontinental, the 22-year-old had achieved notable success in beauty pageants. Thu Ngan was crowned Miss Nam Can Tho University 2022 and won second runner-up in the Miss Tay Do 2023 pageant. Additionally, she made it to the top 30 of Miss Vietnam 2024.
