The beauty queen introduced coffee culture at the Presidential Palace.

On March 7th, Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc was chosen to represent Vietnamese coffee culture and how to enjoy it during the meeting between Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev of Kyrgyzstan. This was part of Prime Minister Kasymaliev's official visit to Vietnam from March 6th to 7th.

Speaking to a reporter from Lao Dong newspaper, Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc said: "I am very happy and proud to be the one to introduce the unique coffee culture, habits, and ways of drinking coffee of the Vietnamese people."

I had a presentation about the tools and utensils used in Vietnamese coffee making. The first was the stove, inspired by the Dong Son bronze drums. The Dong Son bronze drums are a representative image of the Dong Son culture in the nation's history. The second was the teapot, also bearing very distinctive features of Vietnamese culture. And finally, the coffee filter, representing the Vietnamese way of drinking strong, concentrated, and aromatic coffee.

I can sense the Kyrgyz Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymalaev's appreciation for the refined taste of Vietnamese coffee.

Stories about traditional culture, rich in national identity, are spreading very strongly. I am personally inspired. When I heard Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh speak about the origins of culture, how national culture originates from the community, is preserved and spread through many generations, I was deeply moved.”

Miss Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc said that standing amidst the space of the Presidential Palace historical site in Hanoi to talk about Vietnamese coffee culture, her emotions were amplified.

“When talking about national culture, indigenous culture, to touch the hearts of listeners, you must truly love it, be deeply emotional, and have a thorough understanding. I have prepared meticulously so that the story of Vietnamese coffee culture will be presented with all pride. I hope that today's young generation will always love it, always be proud of it, and each person will see their responsibility as an ambassador spreading the beauty of national culture, so that Vietnamese culture can step out into the world,” said Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc.

Inspired by my parents' love of learning.

Currently, Miss Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc is studying Business Administration at the International University, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City. In 2022, when participating in the Miss World Vietnam competition, Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc was introduced as having achieved an IELTS score of 8.0.

Bao Ngoc was born into a family where her father is a military doctor. He is currently a Colonel, a specialist in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery, and the Head of the Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Department at Military Hospital 121.

According to Bao Ngoc, her father is her role model, the person who inspired and motivated her on her educational journey.

“My parents were born into a disadvantaged family but they persevered in their studies. They are shining examples that show me that only through education can we change our lives and destinies. From a young age, my father always encouraged, guided, and supported me in my studies. Now, looking back at my parents' lives, I realize that, despite their difficult and deprived circumstances, they still studied and achieved such remarkable things. There's no reason why someone born into better circumstances like me shouldn't strive and study harder. My parents have helped me dare to think and dare to act, making my youth meaningful,” Bảo Ngọc shared.

Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc's plan for the future is to complete her university degree and then pursue further studies.

“I have received so much love and support from my friends and audience. I am truly grateful. I want to prove my worth so as not to disappoint the trust that the audience has placed in me. Personally, I always aspire to do things that benefit society. First and foremost, I must develop myself. The best way to develop myself is through learning, learning continuously, learning throughout life. Every day of learning and training will help us become a better version of ourselves tomorrow than today. I plan to pursue higher education and expand my knowledge in many fields after I get my university degree,” Bảo Ngọc said.

Miss Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc was born in 2001 in Can Tho. In 2022, Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc won first runner-up at Miss World Vietnam, and subsequently represented Vietnam at Miss Intercontinental 2022 in Egypt, where she was crowned Miss Intercontinental.
