Dai Phuc Commune: 120 members of the Inter-family Groups practice fire fighting plans

On the afternoon of October 25, at Son Ha hamlet, Dai Phuc commune, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department (PCCC) and the Rescue and Search and Rescue Department (CNCH) coordinated to organize a fire fighting plan practice, with about 120 members of inter-family groups and civil defense teams in the commune participating.

Members of the Inter-family Team used on-site vehicles to participate in initial fire fighting.

The hypothetical situation is that a fire broke out at 3:30 p.m. the same day at a residential and commercial house at No. 260, Nam Song Cong Street. The fire broke out in the dry tea trading area, spread quickly and produced a lot of smoke and toxic gas, trapping two family members on the second floor.

After discovering the fire, the homeowner quickly pressed the fire alarm, shouted and called the authorities. Hearing the fire alarm, the members of the Inter-Family Group quickly used on-site equipment to participate in the initial fire fighting, at the same time opened the smoke exit, and moved valuable assets to a safe gathering area.

The civil defense force and the commune police promptly arrived at the scene. The commune People's Committee leaders commanded the local forces, continued to support fire fighting, guided evacuation, evacuation and property protection. During the search and rescue process, 1 civil defense team member was injured and trapped on the 2nd floor.

Upon receiving the fire alarm, the Fire Police and Rescue forces quickly arrived and deployed their teams. The rescue team used demolition equipment and after 15 minutes, successfully reached and rescued the three trapped people, using stretchers and helping the victims to a safe location. At the same time, the Fire Fighting Team deployed a specialized team to control the fire and after about 35 minutes, the fire was completely extinguished.

Firefighting forces practice skills and master escape and rescue operations when a fire or explosion occurs.

The practice session helped people and participating forces raise awareness, proactively prevent, practice skills in using on-site fire prevention equipment and master escape operations, rescue people and property when a fire or explosion occurs. In addition, it contributed to raising awareness, equipping knowledge and practicing skills in handling fire or explosion situations for members of the Inter-family Groups, contributing to effectively implementing the motto "4 on-site".
