Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dao My visited and expressed condolences to the families of the two drowned teenagers.

On the morning of October 26, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dao My and representatives of the Provincial People's Committee Office visited and expressed condolences to the families of two teenagers who drowned in Trieu Son village, Xuan Tho commune.

The two victims were Nguyen Huu Dat and Nguyen Huu Thuy (both born in 2008).

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dao My presented support money to the family of victim Nguyen Huu Dat.

Previously, on the afternoon of October 24, Dat and Thuy, along with three other male friends living in the same neighborhood, went swimming together in the An Thanh neighborhood, Xuan Dai ward, when the sea was rough and the waves were big.

While playing, the children were unfortunately swept away by the waves and drowned.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dao My presented support money to the family of victim Nguyen Huu Thuy.

At the victims' families, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dao My encouraged and shared the loss and pain with the two children's relatives; at the same time, gave each family 10 million VND in support.

Provincial leaders also asked local authorities to continue to pay attention and support the victims' families to overcome immediate difficulties.

Provincial leaders and representatives of the Provincial People's Committee Office expressed condolences to the victims' families.

Currently, authorities recommend that people be vigilant and ensure safety when participating in activities in coastal areas, especially in complex weather conditions, to avoid unfortunate accidents.
