Da Nang: Tra Leng Commune Police support people to avoid floods

In the middle of a night of heavy rain, the Tra Leng Commune Police (Da Nang City) promptly brought nearly 200 people to the headquarters for safe shelter. The officers and soldiers cooked instant noodles to support the people, creating warmth and solidarity in the midst of harsh natural disasters.

On October 26, heavy rains across Da Nang City caused landslides in many mountainous areas, forcing hundreds of people to evacuate urgently.

In Tra Leng commune, heavy rain lasting for many hours caused floods on rivers and streams to rise, cutting off traffic. Many villages were affected by landslides, affecting and damaging the houses of the local people.

Faced with the above situation, officers and soldiers of Tra Leng Commune Police coordinated with the authorities and civil defense forces of the commune to bring nearly 200 people to the commune police headquarters for shelter.

Amidst the heavy rains, when people were tired after a long day of running from the flood, many officers and soldiers of Tra Leng commune police gathered together to light a fire and cook instant noodles to help people have a warm meal and a safe sleep.

The image of simple bowls of noodles handed to people not only helps to dispel hunger, but also provides warmth and spiritual support for people to overcome natural disasters and difficulties.

According to the People's Committee of Tra Leng commune, prolonged heavy rain caused many serious landslides on the roads, cutting off traffic in the locality.

Currently, the commune government continues to evacuate people in at-risk areas to safe shelters.
