On the evening of October 26th, Mr. Nguyen Thuc Dung, Chairman of the Hai Van Ward People's Committee, stated that the local authorities had promptly relocated more than 50 households in the following residential areas: Ta Lang, Nam Yen, Loc My, Truong Dinh, An Dinh… whose houses were located in flood-prone and landslide-prone areas, to safe locations.
In addition, because many roads in the area are cut off by landslides and floods, the authorities of Hai Van ward have put up ropes and warning signs to alert residents.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thuc Dung, due to the complex flood situation and the release of water from the Nam My dam, the risk of flooding, landslides, and localized isolation in low-lying areas is high. Therefore, the Hai Van Ward People's Committee has deployed police, military , and neighborhood committees to be on duty 24/7 to provide timely assistance to residents.

In addition, the People's Committee of Hai Van Ward requested functional forces and residential groups in Nam Yen, Loc My, Nam My, An Dinh, and Truong Dinh to continue urgently mobilizing and relocating people in areas at risk of flooding and landslides to safe places in accordance with the approved disaster prevention and control plan.
In addition, local authorities have advised people to avoid traveling in areas prone to landslides.
