According to the Quang Ngai Provincial Meteorological and Hydrological Station, the water levels of rivers in Quang Ngai province are currently rising but remain below alarm level 1. However, the Tra Bong River is rising rapidly. On October 26th, Quang Ngai province experienced heavy to very heavy rainfall, concentrated in the eastern communes of the province.
In Nghia Lo and Cam Thanh wards, many roads were flooded, including Nguyen Thuy, the intersection of Quang Trung and Nguyen Nghiem, Hung Vuong, and Phan Dinh Phung streets, etc.

Heavy rains have cut off traffic in several areas; currently, the Thach Nham bridge is submerged by about 0.5m, and the Binh Minh - Binh Chuong siphon is starting to flood. Authorities have set up checkpoints and are directing traffic.
In Dong Tra Bong commune, Quang Ngai province, water has overflowed Phu Giang bridge. Local authorities have requested residents not to cross the bridge and strictly prohibited activities such as salvaging firewood and fishing on the river.
In Son Ha commune, heavy rainfall combined with water flowing from upstream has caused the water levels in the Tra Khuc River and streams to rise very high.

By 4 PM on October 26th, many roads in Son Ha commune were deeply flooded (over 0.5m) and partially cut off, including Ba Lau Bridge (Can Son village); Cham Rao Bridge (Cham Rao village); Song Toong Bridge (Ha Bac - Xa Nay road); Hoan Vay Bridge (Go Chu village); Xa Trach - Go Gao Bridge (Go Gao village); Go Cau stream (Ha Thanh village); and Go Che (Truong Ka village).

The People's Committee of Son Ha commune has directed relevant units and departments to deploy forces to coordinate with villages to conduct patrols and set up checkpoints to prevent people from passing through these areas.

According to the Quang Ngai Provincial Meteorological and Hydrological Station, from October 26th to 28th, a flood is likely to occur on the rivers in the province. The flood peaks on the Tra Bong, Tra Cau, Ve, and Po Ko rivers will fluctuate at alarm level 2 to alarm level 3, while the upper reaches of the Dak Bla and Tra Khuc rivers will fluctuate at approximately alarm level 2 to above alarm level 2. The flood peaks are expected to occur during the night of October 26th to 27th.
