In Central Vietnam, rain continues across a wide area. On the morning of December 10th, Hue City, Da Nang City, the eastern parts of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak, and Khanh Hoa experienced rain, moderate rain, with localized heavy rain. Forecasts for the day and night of December 10th indicate moderate to heavy rain in Hue City and the South Central coastal region, with rainfall amounts generally ranging from 40-70mm, and exceeding 150mm in some areas.

The Central Highlands provinces recorded scattered showers and thunderstorms, with rainfall of 10-30mm, and locally over 70mm. In the South, rain also increased, with moderate to heavy rain in many places, with total rainfall of 20-50mm, and over 100mm in some places.

At sea, the northern part of the South China Sea is experiencing strong northeasterly winds of force 6, sometimes reaching force 7, with the Phu Quy station recording gusts of force 7. The trough connected to the low-pressure area at approximately 8.0-9.0 degrees North latitude and 111.0-112.0 degrees East longitude is gradually weakening. Forecasts indicate that during the day and night of December 10th, the low-pressure area will move west-southwest at a speed of about 20 km/h and weaken and dissipate.
Due to strong winds, the northern South China Sea (including the Hoang Sa Islands), the southwestern South China Sea (including the western part of the Truong Sa Islands), and the sea area from Khanh Hoa to Ca Mau will experience northeasterly winds of force 6, sometimes force 7, gusting to force 8-9, with rough seas and waves 2-4 meters high. The central and southern South China Sea, the sea area from southern Quang Tri to Ca Mau, from Ca Mau to An Giang , and the Gulf of Thailand will experience scattered showers and thunderstorms, with the risk of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind of force 6-7.
