HNP - On the morning of October 26, the People's Committee of Hoang Liet Ward opened the 1st Sports Festival in 2025, with the participation of more than 2,000 athletes.

In her opening speech, Vice Chairman of Hoang Liet Ward People's Committee Bui Thi Ngoc Thuy said that the 1st Ward Sports Congress in 2025 is a significant political - cultural - social event, practically welcoming the success of the 1st Hoang Liet Ward Party Congress, term 2025-2030, towards the 11th Capital Sports Congress. The Congress demonstrates the spirit of innovation - solidarity - creativity - development, affirming the determination of the Party Committee, government and people of Hoang Liet Ward in building a civilized, modern, and affectionate Hoang Liet Ward, worthy of being one of the key areas in the South of Hanoi Capital.

In recent years, the physical training and sports movement in Hoang Liet ward has developed strongly, becoming a vibrant cultural and social activity, spreading to every residential area, every neighborhood, every family and every citizen. The movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" has been widely deployed, bringing practical results. Physical training and sports activities are associated with the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life", contributing to improving health, strengthening solidarity, building a civilized and healthy living environment in the community.

Martial arts performance

The first Hoang Liet Ward Sports Festival in 2025 organized 8 sports, including: Table tennis, senior sports, pickleball, football, folk dance, tug of war, swimming, and volleyball. Up to now, the ward has successfully organized 7/8 competitions. The competitions have attracted the participation of thousands of athletes from 39 residential groups belonging to 21 Party cells, school blocks, Police, Military , Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations.

Artists from the Vietnam National Music, Dance and Theatre bring special performances.

"The 1st Sports Congress in 2025 is not only a simple sports event, but also a concrete activity to realize the Resolution of the Hoang Liet Ward Party Congress, contributing to realizing the goal: Developing Hoang Liet people comprehensively - physically healthy, mentally beautiful, living compassionately, united, and affectionately", Vice Chairman of Hoang Liet Ward People's Committee Bui Thi Ngoc Thuy emphasized.

At the opening ceremony, there was a parade of 32 blocks, a sports performance, martial arts and cultural performances; especially the participation of hundreds of artists from the Vietnam National Music and Dance Theater created the uniqueness and scale of the art program with the theme "Solidarity Sports, Hoang Liet Reaches High".
