On October 25th, the Nha Trang Bay Management Board (under the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Khanh Hoa province) issued a notice reminding tourists to ensure safety when swimming in the sea during unfavorable weather conditions.
According to the announcement, due to the impact of Typhoon Fengshen (Typhoon No. 12), the Nha Trang sea area is experiencing large waves, strong winds, and rough seas, posing many safety risks to residents and tourists participating in activities at sea, especially swimming.

On October 18th and 22nd, the Rescue Team of the Nha Trang Bay Management Board promptly discovered and rescued two foreign tourists who were drowning while swimming in the sea.
The Nha Trang Bay Management Board announced that the Rescue Team has now placed warning signs in areas with strong waves and currents along the Tran Phu - Pham Van Dong coastal park.
This unit requested the People's Committee of Nha Trang ward and Bac Nha Trang ward to strengthen propaganda efforts, reminding residents and tourists not to swim in the sea when there are danger warnings; proactively disseminate information on local loudspeakers and social media about weather and sea conditions so that residents and tourists can be informed in a timely manner.
In addition, businesses, accommodation establishments, and hotels along the coast need to inform and advise tourists about dangerous weather conditions, and to avoid swimming in the sea during periods of rough seas and high waves.
Accommodation establishments are also requested to coordinate with rescue and emergency response personnel from the Nha Trang Bay Management Board in informing, warning, and reminding residents and tourists to comply with safety warnings in the beach area.
