
Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son requested that localities absolutely avoid complacency and focus on comprehensively reviewing preparations to ensure the 2026 High School Graduation Examination is organized safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations. He emphasized the strict adherence to the principle of "clear responsibilities, clear tasks, clear timelines, clear accountability, and clear authority." He also stressed the need to proactively develop response plans for natural disasters, extreme weather, epidemics, traffic accidents, and other unforeseen situations, ensuring the legitimate rights of candidates under all circumstances.
The Ministry continues to implement preparations for organizing the exam according to plan, with a focus on security and safety at exam paper printing and copying locations and exam sites in difficult and complex areas. At this point, exam preparations are basically being implemented synchronously. The Ministry has completed the technological infrastructure serving the exam organization. It is coordinating with the Ministry of Public Security to review and assess the security and safety of exam management, grading, and question-setting support software. Many Ministry delegations have directly inspected the preparation work in localities. For the 2026 high school graduation exam, more than 1.22 million candidates nationwide have registered to take the exam, an increase of over 61,000 candidates compared to the previous year.

Immediately after the online meeting, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Y Ngoc, chaired a meeting to implement the tasks of the Steering Committee for the 2026 High School Graduation Examination in Quang Ngai province. The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that schools with examination centers urgently review and complete their facilities and necessary conditions to serve the examination. They were also instructed to coordinate with local authorities to strengthen communication and help students and parents understand the examination regulations. The police force was instructed to proactively implement professional measures and strengthen the prevention of examination fraud, especially the use of high-tech devices.

The Department of Education and Training continues to review human resources and rationally allocate the team responsible for invigilating the exams. It coordinates with communes, wards, and special zones to develop plans to provide maximum support to candidates throughout the examination period. It proactively prevents any mishaps and ensures that all candidates have the best possible conditions to enter this important upcoming exam.
For the 2026 high school graduation exam, Quang Ngai province has over 21,600 registered candidates taking the exam at 49 testing centers with nearly 900 examination rooms. The education sector has mobilized more than 3,350 officials, teachers, staff, and functional forces to participate in serving the exam. The facilities and conditions for organizing the exam at the testing centers are basically fully prepared. The official exam will take place over two days, June 11th and 12th, 2026. Candidates will take four subjects, including two compulsory subjects: Mathematics and Literature, and two elective subjects.
