Xuan Van High School, formerly known as Xuan Van Secondary School, was initially established with only 2 10th grade classes and 64 students. In order to expand learning opportunities for high school students in the area, in 2005, the school was separated and renamed Xuan Van High School. In the early days of its establishment, the school's conditions were still difficult, with inadequate facilities, a small teaching staff, and most of the students being ethnic minority children. However, with the spirit of "overcoming difficulties, teaching well, and studying well", generations of teachers and students of Xuan Van High School united, overcame difficulties, and built the school to develop more and more.

Up to now, the school has all grades with 25 classes, over 1000 students, 50 staff, teachers and employees. The school has become one of the bright spots of the Education and Training sector in the province with a team of staff and teachers who are solid in expertise and dedicated to their profession. The school's facilities are increasingly spacious and modern; the quality of mass and spearhead education is constantly improved. Many generations of students of the school have grown up to become officials, engineers, doctors, teachers, businessmen, armed forces soldiers... contributing their efforts and intelligence to the development of their homeland.

He hoped that the school's leadership and management staff would continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the Party and State's guidelines and policies, especially Resolution 71/NQ-TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development. Teachers need to constantly learn, research, improve their expertise and skills, and improve their knowledge to meet the requirements of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training; proactively apply information technology and digital transformation in teaching.

Students need to clearly identify the right motivation for learning. In addition to learning knowledge, they need to pay attention to cultivating and practicing ethics, behaving in a civilized manner, complying with the laws of the State and school regulations, striving to become digital citizens, global citizens, with both virtue and talent, actively contributing to the cause of building the homeland and the country.

He requested all levels, sectors and Xuan Van commune to continue to pay attention and allocate resources to invest in equipment, create all conditions for the school to perform well its assigned tasks, and contribute with the province's education sector to complete the goal of developing education and training, and improving the quality of human resources in the province.
