On the morning of November 25, at Truong Luu commune, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate the 310th anniversary of the birth of Phan Kinh (1715 - 2025).

Attending the ceremony were Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Nguyet; leaders of provincial and local departments and branches and descendants of the family.

Third-ranked Phan Kinh, also known as Di Truc, and his pen name Tinh Trai, was born on November 11, At Mui year (December 6, 1715) in Vinh Gia village, Lai Thach commune, La Giang district (now Truong Luu commune).

Born in the land of outstanding people, Mr. Phan Kinh was an outstanding talent, passing the First Class Doctorate exam and reaching Third Place (Tham Hoa) in the year of Quy Hoi (1743). He devoted his whole life to the Le - Trinh dynasty with many important positions: Dong Cac Dai Hoc Si, Doc Dong Thanh Hoa, Thu Doc Thi Nghe An, Kinh Luoc Su, Tham Muc Nhung Vu Dao Hung Hoa...

He lived an honest life, close to the people. Although he held many important positions, he always maintained his integrity, uprightness and impartiality. Phan Kinh was conferred the title of God by the royal court, posthumously awarded many noble titles, and had temples built by the people, with his achievements engraved in many localities inside and outside the province.

Over three centuries, the name and career of Phan Kinh are still recorded in history books and passed down among the people, becoming a source of pride and a noble symbol of the studiousness, loyalty, integrity and devotion to the country of the people of Ha Tinh.
