Vinh Khanh on the list of the most interesting streets in the world

Vinh Khanh food street was honored by the leading UK travel magazine Time Out in the ranking "The most interesting streets in the world 2025".

31 streets were included in the list of "The Coolest Streets in the World 2025" (Coolest Streets) announced by a British magazine on November 19. Vinh Khanh Food Street ranked 10th on the list.

About 1 km long, Vinh Khanh is located in Khanh Hoi ward (old district 4) and has been planned by Ho Chi Minh City as a culinary street since 2018. Vinh Khanh includes a series of seafood grills on both sides, always full of customers every night. This is a meeting place for young people and office workers. Visitors will enjoy dried squid from street vendors, watch street artists perform among the passing motorbikes. The sound of pans clanging, glasses clinking and sidewalk karaoke combined together create a lively atmosphere, according to Time Out.

The list of the world's most interesting streets is based on the idea that streets are where visitors find "the most authentic local life" and is based on votes from global travel experts and travelers. Each person will nominate the most worthy street corners in the cities where they live or have visited.

The judging criteria are based on a variety of factors, with destinations being "filled with great shops, great places to eat and lots of fun activities". There are no mandatory architectural features, and it doesn't matter if it's "a canalside promenade or a major thoroughfare".

Rua do Senado Street in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil topped the list this year and is considered to be always vibrant with many new destinations opening, bringing "fresh energy", in addition to long-standing locations.

In the top 10, besides Vinh Khanh, two other destinations in Asia were also mentioned: Orange Street (Osaka, Japan) and Fanghua (Chengdu, China).

The magazine hopes the rankings will be a source of inspiration for both tourists planning trips and locals looking for new experiences right in their own cities.
