This increase in assets comes from the upward momentum of VIC shares of Vingroup Corporation. Since the beginning of the year, VIC has increased about 6 times, from 40,000 VND to the current record of 246,000 VND/share. Vingroup's capitalization value is currently approximately 950,000 billion VND.

Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong's assets reached 22.5 billion USD on November 25.

Compared to the first time he was recognized as a USD billionaire by Forbes in 2013, Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong's assets have increased 15 times.

In the Southeast Asian region, Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong is the third richest person, only behind two Indonesian tycoons, Mr. Prajogo Pangestu and Mr. Low Tuck Kwong. Mr. Prajogo Pangestu currently owns assets worth 39.6 billion USD, ranked 45th in the world , while coal tycoon Low Tuck Kwong owns assets worth 24.4 billion USD, ranked 92nd.

Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong started his business career in Ukraine in the early 1990s with the instant noodle brand Mivina before selling it to Nestlé and returning to Vietnam to invest heavily in the high-end real estate sector.

Under his leadership, Vingroup became a corporation with great influence in the process of urbanization and consumer development in Vietnam.

In recent years, Mr. Vuong has focused resources on VinFast , Vietnam's first electric car company, with the goal of reaching the global market, present in the US, Europe and some Asian countries such as India, Indonesia and the Philippines.

He is often mentioned by international media as a symbol of the new generation of Vietnamese entrepreneurs, and has been on the list of world USD billionaires for many consecutive years, contributing to raising the position of Vietnamese brands on the world economic map.

Notably, Vingroup's ecosystem this year expanded into a series of new fields, from steel, elderly care, entertainment to aerospace.

Most recently, billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong's corporation announced the Cultural pillar, marking a new step in the journey of expanding and perfecting the ecosystem of the largest private corporation in Vietnam.

The birth of this pillar increases the total number of Vingroup's fields of operation to 6, in addition to Technology - Industry, Trade - Services, Infrastructure, Green Energy, and Social Charity.
