The person who "fuels" the Young Pioneers' movement

For many consecutive years, teacher Trinh Hoang Tham (born in 1988), Hang Vinh Primary School, has successfully completed all assigned tasks, has many achievements in the work of the Young Pioneers and the children's movement of the Young Pioneers Union, achieved the title of Central Level 1 Trainer in Young Pioneers work... along with many innovative initiatives, initiatives to strengthen the work of the Young Pioneers - Association.

Advise and organize many effective activities

Identifying the important role of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Organization in schools, Mr. Trinh Hoang Tham always focuses on consulting, proposing and organizing many effective activities at Hang Vinh Primary School, Nam Can Commune. Hang Vinh Primary School's Union is constantly growing, attracting a large number of teenagers and children to participate. Many movements take place enthusiastically and practically, the outstanding contributions of groups and individuals are recognized, commended and rewarded by all levels.

To expand and improve the effectiveness of activities, Mr. Tham actively mobilized participation and support from many resources in terms of funding, human resources and time. Thanks to the harmonious coordination, many meaningful activities were successfully organized, creating a comprehensive training environment for the children. Typical examples include: "Reading and following the Team newspaper", "Small plan", building a "Fund for poor friends"; "Red phoenix flower singing contest", "Painting contest", "Beautiful handwriting contest", "Traffic safety contest", "Uncle Ho story telling contest"... In particular, the movement "Vietnamese children - Study well, practice hard" has become a bright spot, creating motivation to help children strive to excel in studying and practicing.

Mr. Trinh Hoang Tham shared: “For me, the current Team leader needs to have communication skills such as communication and use of social networks to spread positive information, along with the element of creativity, innovation in the form of Team - Association activities, turning them into experiential activities and games. In particular, the application of technology to Team - Association activities is also an urgent factor. Combining tradition and modernity to retain and attract team members, and upgrade propaganda activities”.

During his 5 years as the Team Leader at Hang Vinh Primary School, with his dynamism, enthusiasm and daring to think and act, Mr. Tham has organized many activities with 5 basic contents for students and team members at the school such as: practicing life skills, keeping the school green - clean - beautiful; organizing fun and healthy collective activities; learning, caring for and protecting local historical relics... At the same time, he regularly organizes folk games such as: tug of war, sack jumping, jumping rope, passing lemons... in collective activities, after-school activities so that students and team members feel more active and practice more open thinking.

For Mr. Tham, the work of the Youth Union not only trains students to be dynamic and creative, but also guides their thinking, helps them understand more deeply the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", and arouses the spirit of self-awareness and initiative in the school's educational activities. For that reason, Mr. Tham has recommended to the Board of Directors of Hang Vinh Primary School to regularly organize cleaning and incense burning on holidays and Tet at the Monument to the martyrs and local red addresses.

Mr. Tham received the Pink Swallow Award in 2025.

Teacher Tham confided: “Over the years, I have always focused on building and developing close relationships both inside and outside the school, in order to attract the participation of many forces. This has contributed significantly to the success of the Team's activities for many years. The educational effectiveness has been increasingly improved, demonstrated by the increasing number of Team members achieving the title of "Good Children of Uncle Ho", good children, good students, and good Team members. This movement has not only received positive responses from Team members but also received strong support from school leaders, colleagues and parents, contributing to creating proud achievements."

Passionate about "fueling" the movement

In addition to the work of the Youth Union, Mr. Tham also opens swimming classes for children to prevent water accidents. Mr. Tham does not hesitate to take students who do not have the means to travel to the swimming class location, in order to equip them with knowledge and skills to swim, and to rescue themselves and their friends in case of drowning.

Mr. Tham said: “In 2018, I mobilized the socialization of a mobile swimming pool at Hang Vinh Primary School and organized free swimming lessons for more than 200 students in difficult circumstances, many of whom later won high prizes in swimming competitions. In order for students to master the skills to protect themselves and provide first aid to friends in drowning situations, I had to convey swimming techniques in an easy-to-understand way and be patient with each student, especially children.”

Mr. Tham consulted and was approved by the school's Board of Directors that at every flag-raising ceremony at the beginning of the week, classes take turns telling beautiful stories to spread good things, help children stay away from bad things and practice moral qualities such as being polite to grandparents and parents, being gentle and friendly with friends. Thanks to that, many team members and children have taken meaningful actions, typically picking up lost items and returning them to the owner.

The only concern of Mr. Tham is that the work of the Young Pioneers and Associations is somewhat quieter than in previous years, and the team of good young pioneers at the school has not yet perfected their skills to develop their capacity. His greatest wish is that the Young Pioneers and Associations movement will be fueled every day. The young young pioneers who have grown up from the Young Pioneers and Associations movement will be the successor human resources, the extended arm to lay a solid foundation for the movement in the new development stage of the homeland.

The teacher of the Young Pioneers' Association works tirelessly every day to lead the children's movement and preserve the fundamental values ​​for the school: solidarity, responsibility and humanity. The dedication of teacher Trinh Hoang Tham is a silent but strong flame, helping many generations of students grow up and confidently step into life.
