According to Mr. Vi Thao, in recent times, cooperation between Guangxi and Vietnam has achieved many great achievements in many aspects. Regarding tourism cooperation, Guangxi has organized exchanges, cooperation, and tourism promotion with 4 provinces of Vietnam. As of October, Guangxi has welcomed 150,000 Vietnamese tourists, an increase of 62.35%. Regarding sports, from 2023 to now, the two sides have organized 34 sports events, and Guangxi has also welcomed more than 240 athletes for training.

In the coming time, to continue promoting cooperation between Guangxi and Vietnam, Mr. Vi Thao suggested that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism continue to create conditions and support the Chinese Cultural Center in Hanoi, while promoting deeper cooperation and exchanges in sports, and fostering the brand of China-Vietnam sports competitions.
It is known that in the coming time, in Nanning, an ASEAN competition training facility will be established, building a mechanism for athletes from ASEAN countries to come and train.

The Deputy Minister assessed that Guangxi is a large locality of China located close to the border with Vietnam, possessing many favorable conditions and a rapid development speed. In recent times, exchanges in the fields of culture, sports and tourism between Vietnam and Guangxi have taken place regularly, and the understanding of Vietnamese people about China in general and Guangxi in particular is very profound.
Regarding the proposals from Guangxi, Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong said that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has strongly supported the establishment and construction of the Chinese Cultural Center in Hanoi. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has assigned the Department of International Cooperation to plan and organize cultural exchange activities here.
Regarding tourism cooperation, especially at the border, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will continue to closely monitor and provide guidance on tourism promotion. In the coming time, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will continue to promote investment commensurate with its role and position here.

Regarding sports, the Deputy Minister expressed his hope that the sports cooperation between Vietnam and China in general, and Guangxi in particular, will continue to have strong developments. The Deputy Minister also expressed his joy that the ASEAN competition training facility will be built in Nanning. This will be a place for Vietnamese athletes in Table Tennis, Wushu, etc. to train and improve their skills.
The Deputy Minister assigned the Vietnam Sports Administration to plan and contact athletes to send them for training as soon as possible.
Expressing his gratitude to the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong for creating favorable conditions, Mr. Vi Thao affirmed that under the attention of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, cooperation between the two sides will achieve many results.
