According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, storm No. 15 continues to strengthen, the direction of movement and intensity of the storm will change a lot in the coming days. However, the storm circulation and cold air can cause moderate to heavy rain in the area from Da Nang to Lam Dong, along with the consequences of heavy rains lasting for the past few days, there is a very high risk of landslides, flash floods, inundation of low-lying areas in this area.
Implementing the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch No. 231/CD-TTg dated November 26, 2025 on proactive prevention, avoidance and response to storm No. 15 in 2025, to promptly respond, ensure safety for people, and minimize property damage, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism proposes:
Directors of the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism , Departments of Culture and Sports, Departments of Tourism in the above provinces and cities continue to deploy plans to prevent, avoid and respond to storms since the beginning of the rainy and stormy season, always maintain the highest level of vigilance, not be negligent, subjective, ensure timely and effective prevention according to the motto of proactive prevention "early, from afar" with the goal of ensuring the safety of people and tourists. Coordinate with functional agencies and local authorities to review areas still affected and damaged by the recent floods, promptly organize timely remediation, and provide maximum support to people and tourists to soon stabilize their lives.
At the same time, closely following the direction of the Government and the Prime Minister, focusing on leadership, direction, organization, monitoring, updating the situation and developments of storms regularly to ensure safety in tourism activities, preparing plans to relocate and evacuate people and tourists to the safest places, especially on islands and coastal areas. At the same time, coordinate with agencies, functional agencies, and local authorities to review, count, arrange, and guide ships and vehicles operating at sea to safe anchorages, not allowing them to sink at shelters.
In addition, review and inspect cultural and sports works, institutions, historical and cultural relics, scenic spots, tourist areas and spots in the area that are still affected by the recent floods, promptly deploy protective measures, timely reinforcement, and move documents and artifacts to safe places if necessary. Direct press, radio and television agencies and grassroots information agencies to update and regularly report on the situation and developments of storms, floods, landslides so that people and tourists can clearly understand the situation. Focus on information, propaganda and dissemination of skills to prevent, avoid and respond to storms, floods, landslides so that people and tourists know and proactively respond promptly.
For agencies and units under the Ministry, based on the situation and developments of the storm, organize and deploy storm response measures at the agency and unit to ensure the safety of people, property and works managed by the agency and unit. Along with that, based on the assigned functions and tasks, agencies and units direct and effectively implement the work of responding to storms, floods, landslides, especially in tourism activities, cultural heritage, information and propaganda; proactively coordinate with functional agencies, local authorities and relevant agencies and units to support people and tourists to respond to storms promptly and effectively in the spirit of "the earliest, most proactive"./.
