According to initial information, on November 22, the Emergency Department of Poison Control (Ha Tinh Provincial General Hospital) received patient NHĐ (42 years old, residing in Pleiku Ward, Gia Lai Province) with symptoms of chest tightness and difficulty breathing. After being admitted to the hospital for 3 minutes, the patient lost consciousness, turned purple and was determined by doctors to have cardiac arrest.
Immediately, doctors from the Emergency Department of Poison Control coordinated with the Cardiology Department ( Ha Tinh Provincial General Hospital) to perform CPR according to protocols such as chest compressions, electric shock, intubation... After 30 minutes of CPR, the patient's heartbeat returned. Doctors diagnosed the patient with "Acute myocardial infarction complicated by arrhythmia, respiratory circulatory arrest".
Immediately after the pulse and blood pressure stabilized, the patient was assigned to have an emergency coronary angiogram and intervention. The results of the angiogram showed that the blood clot completely blocked the right coronary artery (RCA). The patient then underwent intervention to remove a large amount of blood clot and had two stents placed at the blocked location.

After the intervention, the right coronary artery flow was re-established, the patient showed signs of consciousness and continued to be on a ventilator and vasopressors. After 2 days of intensive treatment, the patient was weaned off vasopressors and the endotracheal tube was removed. Currently, the patient is conscious and is expected to be discharged in the next few days.
