
On December 1, Da Nang Lung Hospital announced that the hospital's working group, along with the City Union of Friendship Organizations and the Young Physicians Association, organized a program to examine, provide health consultations and provide free medicine in Sepon district, Savannakhet province, Laos.

The activity aims to continue to foster the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, especially between Da Nang City and Lao localities.

The activity is carried out within the framework of the project to strengthen cooperation between Da Nang and Lao localities in the period 2023-2027, creating opportunities for people to access quality medical services, especially in the field of respiratory medicine - the professional strength of Da Nang Lung Hospital.

During the 4 working days, the delegation carried out screening for respiratory diseases, lung diseases - tuberculosis; general medical examination, ultrasound, blood sugar and blood pressure measurement; X-ray and respiratory function measurement; free medicine distribution and gifts to people.

In addition, the delegation also visited, worked and exchanged expertise with Sepon District Medical Center to share more experiences and expand cooperation in training medical human resources for the neighboring country.

With nearly 500 people coming for examination, many cases of diseases were discovered such as: Asthma, COPD, tuberculosis, diabetes, high blood pressure, tumors, kidney stones, liver and gallbladder...

This is an activity of profound humanitarian significance, and at the same time a vivid demonstration of the Vietnam - Laos friendship "forever green, forever sustainable".

Da Nang Lung Hospital is honored to accompany and promote its core role in the respiratory field, actively contributing to the medical development of the border area.

The working trip is also a practical activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the National Day of the Lao PDR (December 2, 1975 - December 2, 2025).
