On August 19, 2025, Vietnam Post Corporation (Vietnam Post) started construction and inaugurated three key projects: Postal Logistics Platform, New Data Center and Vietnam Post Traditional Room.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Pham Duc Long said that among the 250 key projects that started on August 19, Vietnam Post had 3 projects, of which 2 projects started and 1 project was inaugurated. The two projects, the Postal Logistics Platform and the new Data Center, created a solid foundation and development for the industry.
According to Vietnam Post, the Postal Logistics Platform is a key project, with the goal of becoming a strategic solution to modernize and comprehensively digitalize Vietnam Post's postal, logistics, e-commerce and distribution activities.
The platform integrates synchronous subsystems: multi-channel order management, transportation, sorting, smart warehousing, financial payment... to create a unified, automated system, optimizing operations and improving customer experience.

The platform also allows analysis and decision-making based on big data, meeting international standards in the logistics sector. The Postal Logistics Platform will be completed before April 30, 2026, making Vietnam Post a pioneering 4.0 logistics enterprise, fully meeting the development requirements of cross-border e-commerce. The platform is expected to contribute significantly to the development strategy of the Logistics industry in Vietnam in the context of international economic integration and the explosive growth of e-commerce.
With the new data center designed according to international standards (Tier III), high-speed, secure multi-line network connection, ensuring 24/7 continuous operation. The information security monitoring system is deployed according to ISO 27001 standards; the server system and network equipment ensure synchronous and modern security, providing computing capacity to more than 1,000 virtualized servers, storing hundreds of Petabytes of data.
The center will meet the requirements of deploying new technologies such as Big Data, AI, IoT... In particular, the private cloud computing infrastructure is not only for internal use, but is also designed to be open so that in the future it can provide public cloud and multi-cloud computing services for businesses and customers in the market. The new data infrastructure system is expected to be operational on December 15, 2025.

Vietnam Post believes that in response to the need to exploit and process huge amounts of data, the groundbreaking of the new Data Center is a strategic step to build a comprehensive digital transformation infrastructure platform for the Corporation. This is not only a project serving Vietnam Post's digital transformation strategy, but also an important project in the postal sector, contributing to promoting the development of Vietnam's knowledge economy.
On this occasion, Vietnam Post also inaugurated the Digital Tradition Room, becoming a symbolic project, a place to preserve and connect the heroic 80-year memories of the Postal industry with the aspiration for comprehensive digital transformation in the new era.
The exhibition space harmoniously combines physical and digital artifacts according to the timeline: Past - Present - Future. The impressive point of the Traditional Room is that the entire space applies modern technology: 3D digitalization of artifacts, 3D mapping projection; AI virtual assistant and AI tour guide support questions, answers, direct tour guidance...
According to Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang, Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Post Corporation, with 3 projects: 2 projects started and 1 project inaugurated, all are digital technology projects. Technology not only creates the future, but technology also connects and spreads history and tradition.
Mr. Giang emphasized: "Vietnam Post will create new breakthroughs to ensure material flow with four driving forces: new organizational model, new economic mechanism, new service ecosystem and comprehensive digital transformation".
