Vietnam is truly becoming an attractive destination for the domestic and international technology community.
In 2024, the Prime Minister issued the National Strategy on application and development of blockchain technology to 2025, with a vision to 2030, aiming to make blockchain a core infrastructure to support economic and service sectors.
Recently, the Law on Digital Technology Industry was officially passed by the National Assembly and is expected to take effect from January 1, 2026. This law not only "officializes" the $105 billion blockchain market in Vietnam but also sets out a legal framework to manage, develop and protect participants in the digital asset market...
Vietnam's "era of rising" is strongly joining the world 's "digital era", with the aspiration to become a pioneer in the digital economy in the region. The recent drastic steps from the Government have demonstrated that determination and market members need to strongly join hands to help Vietnam affirm its name on the global financial map.
That is also the vision of two prominent representatives in the digital financial market: SSI Digital and Kyros Ventures when they decided to join hands to organize the GM Vietnam 2025 event - Asia's leading blockchain, digital asset and investment technology event.

The interpretations are discussed.
In terms of scale, GM Vietnam 2025 brings together more than 200 leading domestic and international speakers from Korea, Singapore, UAE, Hong Kong and the United States... who are business leaders, developers, investment funds, financial experts and many management agencies and experts.
Bringing together more than 1,000 founders, investment funds, angel investors, developers and advisors. This is not only a place to share trends but also a strategic meeting place to form alliances, projects and policy directions for a future where blockchain becomes a common digital infrastructure in society.
A special highlight is the presence of many influential figures in the financial and technology industry in Vietnam: Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung - Chairman of the Board of Directors (BOD) of SSI Securities Corporation; Mr. Truong Gia Binh - Chairman of the billion-dollar technology group FPT; Mr. Thuat Nguyen - Founder and CEO of Kyros Ventures.
GM Vietnam 2025 also brings together a series of special faces in the blockchain, technology, organizations and individuals who have a great influence on the global digital asset market: Ms. Quynh Le - Director of Development for Asia - Pacific of Tether - the world's largest stablecoin issuer; 13-year-old Technology Director of OplaCRM - Nguyen Nam Long; Ms. Virginie Barbot - Managing Director of Southeast Asia and Pacific - Nasdaq Technology - a group providing infrastructure for many stock markets around the world will have a presentation at the event.
In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung said: "The event was organized with a list of attendees, a list of traditional and technology financial institutions, technology organizations, exchanges, and investment funds participating, proving that this is not a greeting from Vietnam but affirms that Vietnam has truly become an attractive destination for the domestic and international technology community."
According to Mr. Hung, GM Vietnam grows stronger every year, showing its attractiveness. Vietnam will soon become the technology center of the region.
"I am very proud to join SSI Digital and Kyros Ventures to organize GM Vietnam 2025 - a place to gather those who believe in Vietnam and join Vietnam in entering the digital age.
More than 20,000 attendees, hundreds of investment funds, technology corporations, and the world's leading founders. All are looking to Vietnam - not only as an emerging market, but as a country that is striving to lead", the Chairman of the Board of Directors of SSI Securities Company emphasized.
Three important legal pillars
Also at the event, Mr. Pham Tien Dung, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam and Vice President of the National Cyber Security Association (NCA), said: Vietnam is proactively building a comprehensive legal corridor for the development of crypto assets, in which cybersecurity is identified as a fundamental factor to build trust.
To demonstrate Vietnam's preparation, the Deputy Governor pointed out three important and recent legal events, creating a solid foundation for the market.
Firstly, the National Assembly passed the Resolution on the International Financial Center, which includes content on innovation and specialized exchanges, and specialized exchanges here are understood to mean exchanges on crypto assets, including both secured and unsecured crypto assets.
Second, the Ministry of Finance has submitted to the Government a Resolution on piloting crypto-asset trading floors, with blockchain as the core technology.
The third is the passage of the Digital Technology Industry Law.
Deputy Governor Pham Tien Dung affirmed: "This is perhaps the first time and Vietnam is one of the few countries that has clearly defined crypto assets, virtual assets and related issues, paving the legal way for the development of other regulations."
Thus, it can be seen that Vietnam does not only stop at strategy but has also taken specific legal steps, creating a foundation for investment and business activities in this field.
According to Mr. Pham Tien Dung, the banking industry in the development process is directly or indirectly related to blockchain. Some applications are being widely deployed by banks, bringing convenience to users.
Asia's Leading Blockchain Event
GM Vietnam 2025 is not only a stage to showcase investment technology, but also a strategic roundtable for the future of digital assets and blockchain, expected to bring multi-dimensional perspectives from market segments, while also sparking initiatives to position the country on the global blockchain map.
With the participation of representatives of state management agencies, focal units in the work of building a legal framework for digital assets, along with leading domestic and foreign experts, the content structure of the 2-day program is designed in depth, including content related to: Legal framework for digital assets and sandbox mechanism; System safety and security; Decoding the investment map, understanding the "shark" taste for Vietnamese startups to seize opportunities. These are contents revolving around the trends that are dominating and shaping the future of the blockchain industry, bringing depth and high applicability to the discussion sessions.
In terms of application, GM Vietnam 2025 also sets the goal of "bringing blockchain closer to mass users". From there, the organizational form is also innovated towards creating a multi-dimensional experience, making blockchain intuitive and easy to understand, no longer an abstract concept.
The event has more than 40 booths exhibiting protocols, wallets, investment platforms and Web3 ecosystems, introducing blockchain application products in finance, retail, security, data, entertainment, healthcare, etc. Attendees not only listen to presentations but also directly interact, register for trials, and connect with product development teams.
Sharing about the significance of the event, Mr. Thuat Nguyen - Founder and CEO of Kyros Ventures said: "From the time of initiating in 2023, and to the next events in 2024 and 2025, the consistent goal of GM Vietnam is still to create a forum for projects and companies in the blockchain industry in Vietnam to meet, exchange and demonstrate their strength with international friends. Despite the developments and upgrades in scale, this is still the core value of the event, providing opportunities for cooperation and exchange of ideas, thereby contributing significantly to promoting the development of the technology sector in Vietnam."
GM Vietnam 2025 also organizes the largest Hackathon in Vietnam (Aptos Hackathon), the "Treasure Hunt" activity - a technology treasure hunt that encourages attendees to explore booths, perform tasks, interact and receive rewards.
All are aimed at a long-term goal of bringing blockchain beyond the limits of technology, to become infrastructure and assets serving life, affirming that GM Vietnam 2025 is not only a program of professional contribution, but also a preparation step to connect policy thinking, technology infrastructure and user behavior.
