The 1st Bat Trang Commune Sports Festival:

On the evening of October 25, Bat Trang commune held the opening ceremony of the 1st Sports Festival - 2025.

At the Congress, there were 22 groups: National flag, Congress logo flag, President Ho Chi Minh's portrait palanquin, red flag, militia forces, police, veterans, the elderly, women, farmers, Youth Union, residential areas, athletes, referees... participating in the parade to demonstrate the force, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, will and strength of all the people of Bat Trang commune in the sports training movement following the example of great Uncle Ho.

Delegates and people attending the opening ceremony of the Congress witnessed athlete Do Quoc Luat carry the torch from Chu Xa communal house to the Congress yard, handing it over to Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Bat Trang commune Nguyen Van Quyen to perform the ceremony of lighting the flame of the Commune Sports Congress.

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Chairman of Bat Trang Commune People's Committee Hoang Tien Dung emphasized that the physical training and sports movement of Bat Trang Commune in recent years has had strong and comprehensive development. Sports tournaments are organized regularly, many mass sports clubs operate enthusiastically, attracting a large number of people to participate, contributing to improving health and building a healthy cultural life in the community.

The first Bat Trang Commune Sports Festival is a big festival, an occasion for the locality to demonstrate its strength, honor the spirit of physical training, strengthen solidarity and community cohesion. The festival brings together 1,100 athletes from villages, agencies, schools and units in the commune, competing in 10 sports, including: Soccer, volleyball, tug of war, athletics, dance sports, aerobics, basketball, chess, chess, pickleball.

Bat Trang is proud to be a land not only rich in cultural traditions, but also has many outstanding athletes contributing to the sports of the capital and the country, such as: Wushu athlete Hoang Thi Phuong Giang in village 1 - Dong Du, who brought glory to the Fatherland with the Gold Medal at the 2017 SEA Games and 31 SEA Games, Bronze Medal at the 2018 Asian Games; badminton athlete Pham Nhu Thao in village 2 - Giang Cao, who won the Ciputra Hanoi International Badminton Tournament 2018 and the Canada Open 2016, leaving her mark on the international arena; football player Tran Dinh Trong, who grew up from the local sports movement, is currently a member of the National Football Team, won the runner-up of the 2018 Asian U23 Championship, contributing greatly to many championships with Hanoi FC; Athlete Do Tien Luat, SEA Games 30 Gold Medalist (2019), 11 consecutive Tien Phong Marathon champion, is a shining example of will and determination to overcome difficulties.

The outstanding achievements of the athletes are the pride of the Party Committee, government and people of Bat Trang commune, and are a source of inspiration for the mass sports movement in the commune to continue to develop more strongly.
