Exquisite handicrafts with high aesthetic and economic value are being displayed at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi) for locals and tourists to visit and learn about.

The exhibition area, themed "The Charm of Hanoi, " organized by the Hanoi People's Committee, is part of the Exhibition celebrating 80 years of national achievements and brings together many exquisite handicraft products from famous traditional craft villages of the capital city. Through this, we aim to honor the traditional handicraft values that have been nurtured through the ups and downs of the nation's history of building and defending the country. Mr. Duong Van Hiep (owner of a mother-of-pearl inlaid woodworking workshop in Chuyen My commune) shared: “I am very honored to participate in this event. This is an opportunity for us to promote our products in particular and the mother-of-pearl inlay craft of Chuyen My commune in general.” "Looking at Chuyen My's mother-of-pearl inlay products, people will see a level of sophistication and uniqueness that cannot be found anywhere else," Mr. Hiep further shared. It is thanks to its quality and brand that the mother-of-pearl inlay products of Chuyen My commune bring high economic value.
Ceramic products from the traditional craft villages of Bat Trang and Kim Lan (Bat Trang commune) have their own unique characteristics. Bat Trang ceramics are characterized by their fine white clay, high-temperature firing technique, traditional glazes, and exquisite decorations such as hand-painting, incised carving, and embossed designs. A standout product of Kim Lan pottery village is the royal glazed ceramic plate, depicting the "Nine Dragons and Fish Gathering" story, which is the largest of its kind in Vietnam. In addition, the rattan and bamboo weaving products of Phu Nghia commune also attract the attention of many tourists. Mr. Hoang Van Ha from Dong Da ward commented: “The handicrafts here are very exquisite, embodying the spirit of the countryside and the unique characteristics of each region. I am impressed with the rattan and bamboo weaving products, wood carvings, and lacquerware.”
The lacquer painting set "Buffalo at the Village Gate - Cat" by artist Nguyen Tan Phat (Hong Van commune). Silk products from Van Phuc craft village (Ha Dong ward)... …and the bronze casting of Ngũ Xã village (Ba Đình ward) also left a strong impression on visitors. "The essence of Hanoi" is an affirmation of a capital city that not only preserves and cherishes its heritage, but also steadily develops on the foundation of its culture, history, and people, gradually integrating with the world .
