On October 29, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Hoa Ward (HCMC) held the 1st Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front Delegates of the Ward, term 2025 - 2030. Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of HCMC, attended and directed the congress.

In his speech directing the congress, comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc praised the achievements of the Fatherland Front of Binh Hoa ward in the past time. In particular, the ward Front has been creative in propaganda, mobilization, and gathering of people from all walks of life; widely implementing patriotic emulation movements and major campaigns launched by the Front. The work of social supervision and criticism, and participation in Party and government building have been implemented methodically and substantially.

Binh Hoa Ward has a natural area of ​​18.48 km² with a population of nearly 120,000 people, many immigrants (mechanical population accounts for over 60%). The ward has a favorable geographical location and strengths in industrial and commercial development; concentrates many large enterprises, industrial parks... Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc analyzed, this characteristic raises many important issues regarding economic development, population management, management of mechanical population growth, investment in social infrastructure, and traffic infrastructure.

Therefore, Binh Hoa ward needs to base on the actual population data and local socio-economic conditions to develop plans, programs, and directions for implementing work tasks. The work of the Front must shift from formal movements to substantive results, based on data; prioritizing models that can be replicated quickly, at reasonable costs, and bring practical benefits to the people.

He emphasized that the ward Fatherland Front needs to take the people as the center, the subject, and the driving force to decide on the goals and tasks of the work. Accordingly, it is necessary to closely follow the lives of people in residential areas; receive and promptly coordinate to handle the people's legitimate and legal recommendations. Along with that, effectively organize forums "People contribute ideas to Party building, government building", promote social dialogue, build a government that is truly of the people, by the people, for the people; especially strengthen democracy at the grassroots level so that "People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise, people benefit", ensuring "no one is left behind".

In addition, the Fatherland Front of the ward needs to promote the role of prestigious people, religious dignitaries, business community, intellectuals, entrepreneurs and typical individuals in the community; pay more attention to workers, immigrants, the elderly, women, children... All activities of the Front are associated with the synchronous implementation of 3 policies: policy for people with meritorious services, policy on social security coverage and policy on social protection.

He also emphasized the need to promote the combined strength of the Front in the new model, with many member organizations and forces participating together for a common goal. Accordingly, it is necessary to design a multi-level representation and participation network for new-generation workers, farmers, young people, women, and the disadvantaged... on a digital platform.

The Congress consulted 51 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward for the new term. Mr. Tran Thanh Sang continues to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward for the 2025-2030 term.
