Khanh Hoa strengthens coordination with KOLs to build a safe and healthy online environment.

On the afternoon of December 12th, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police organized the conference "KOLs Partnering for Development with Khanh Hoa Province" and launched the model "Khanh Hoa Digital Space - Healthy and Civilized". Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha - Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; Colonel Ha Van Bac - Deputy Director of the Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department - Ministry of Public Security; leaders of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police; and 60 prominent KOLs (influencers) from across the country.

In his opening remarks at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Ha acknowledged the contributions of KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) in communicating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations, reflecting life, and promoting the cultural image and people of Khanh Hoa. He also emphasized the importance and influence of social media on the trends of the times; the healthy, safe, and effective use of social media is the responsibility of the community. He expressed his hope that, with their dedication, prestige, and influence, KOLs would actively inspire and help create a healthier online environment, contributing to enriching knowledge and strengthening society's resilience against harmful information. He urged relevant agencies to continue organizing training in communication skills and the identification and handling of harmful and toxic information on the internet for KOLs.

At the conference, delegates participated in a panel discussion on the topic "Cybersecurity and KOLs - Working Together to Build a Safe and Healthy Cyberspace in Khanh Hoa." KOLs signed a commitment to comply with the law and codes of conduct in cyberspace. The Khanh Hoa Provincial Police launched the "Not Alone - Staying Safe Online Together" campaign, initiated by the National Cybersecurity Association, to raise community awareness, especially among young people, about the risk of "online kidnapping"; and introduced the "Khanh Hoa Digital Space - Healthy and Civilized" model to provide legal support, share official information, and promptly address issues of public concern through the Zalo platform.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Ha Van Bac assessed the cybersecurity situation over the past period; and at the same time, requested the team of KOLs to promote their role in leading and guiding information, contributing to helping people access official information sources and comply with legal regulations while operating in cyberspace.

On this occasion, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police awarded commemorative medals to outstanding channels, event organizing companies, and KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders).
