Following the recent historic floods, Dong Hoa ward is focusing intensely on post-disaster recovery efforts, gradually stabilizing people's lives and restoring socio-economic activities.
According to statistics, the entire ward has over 13,500 flooded houses, 46 completely collapsed, and 56 severely damaged. Many transportation, education , health, and cultural facilities have been seriously damaged or deteriorated.

In Hoa Xuan commune, prolonged heavy rains and flooding have caused severe inundation and significant property damage. A total of 437 houses in the commune were damaged, with 38 completely destroyed; estimated damages exceed 90.6 billion VND.
In response to this situation, the entire political system, along with the government at all levels, the police, the military, organizations, sponsors, and the people, joined hands to support and resolutely implement the "Quang Trung Campaign" to urgently build and repair houses for households whose homes were swept away, collapsed, or severely damaged.

The goal is to complete the construction of new homes for households whose houses were completely destroyed before January 31, 2026, and to complete the repair of damaged houses before December 31, 2025; ensuring that the houses are sturdy, safe, and meet living and disaster prevention requirements.

Despite the achievements, the work of repairing damage in the localities faces many difficulties due to shortages of construction materials, deteriorating transportation infrastructure, and some land-related issues.
Local authorities have requested that all levels and sectors provide support and create favorable conditions to complete the construction and repair of housing for the people on schedule, ensuring social security and long-term stability after the natural disaster.

Concluding the inspection, Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged and shared the difficulties and losses that localities are suffering due to the floods.
The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that the work of overcoming the consequences needs to be identified as a comprehensive campaign, mobilizing the entire political system to participate, with clear assignment of responsibilities and tasks, closely monitoring each difficulty and obstacle to promptly resolve them.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested that localities continue to review and compile complete and accurate statistics on damages and support needs, taking responsibility for the data, ensuring transparency and targeting the right beneficiaries. Based on the emergency situation, they should urgently complete the construction and repair of houses for the people; the Department of Construction is tasked with proactively coordinating and ensuring the supply of construction materials such as sand, cement, and bricks for construction.
At the same time, sectors and localities are focusing on supporting the provision of plant and animal breeds, equipment, and essential supplies, clearly defining priorities for households severely affected; strengthening information and communication to ensure people understand the policies and guidelines, and cooperate with the government to quickly stabilize their lives after the floods.
