This year is the 12th year that the National E-commerce Week and Vietnam Online Shopping Day - Online Friday have been implemented. The program aims to stimulate domestic consumption, increase people's awareness of e-commerce, promote infrastructure development and digital technology solutions. At the same time, it guides and supports businesses to participate in building a sustainable e-commerce market in Vietnam.
The goal of “National E-commerce Week and Vietnam Online Shopping Day - Online Friday 2025” is to build a major online shopping festival of the year, bringing practical benefits to consumers when participating in online shopping, creating a premise for the development of online shopping sites in particular and e-commerce in general; contributing to building a close and sustainable link between the business community, from manufacturers, distributors to e-commerce infrastructure service providers and consumers.
The National E-commerce Week and Vietnam Online Shopping Day - Online Friday took place with many incentives for products and services from businesses. At the same time, the functional sector promoted solutions to protect the rights of online consumers through propaganda to prevent and combat counterfeit goods, encourage the use of genuine products and prioritize products originating in Vietnam.
This is also an opportunity for businesses to promote, identify and consume genuine products, products originating in Vietnam. Bringing genuine products closer to consumers, creating opportunities for consumers to easily access and purchase quality products produced by Vietnamese and international businesses on e-commerce and traditional retail channels.
At the same time, promote propaganda and improve solutions to protect online consumer rights through propaganda against counterfeit and fake goods, encourage the use of genuine products and prioritize products originating in Vietnam.
Promote the consumption of products and services in the digital environment, including bringing products to the digital environment; equipping people and young entrepreneurs with digital skills, providing utilities for people to transact in the digital environment... supporting the development of e-commerce, promoting the digital economy and digital transformation of the province in the digital environment.
During the Program, the Department of Industry and Trade will preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to advise on propaganda, encouragement and mobilization of enterprises, cooperatives and production and business households in the province to participate in promotional programs, discounts, incentives, etc.
The State Bank of Vietnam, Region XII, will support businesses and people in making cashless payment transactions to help people transact effectively in the digital environment.
