On the morning of November 17, General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security chaired the conference to review the work of inspection, supervision and Party discipline for the 2020-2025 term.

* On the morning of November 17, Senior General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security chaired the Conference to review the work of inspection, supervision and Party discipline for the 2020-2025 term in the Central Public Security Party Committee and to review 5 years of implementing Directive No. 01, dated November 13, 2020 of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee on innovation, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of inspection, supervision and Party discipline work in the people's public security.

In his concluding remarks, Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized: The Resolution of the 8th Central Party Congress of the Public Security Department is highly action-oriented and combative in nature, aiming to "Increase the contribution of public security work in implementing the Party's strategic goals", "create new steps, raise the level of all aspects of public security work with the spirit that the 2025-2030 term must be better than the 2020-2025 term", and is posing increasingly new requirements and tasks for the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline work.

Minister Luong Tam Quang requested that the police of all units and localities unify their awareness that inspection and supervision work is the task of the entire Party Committee, of Party committees at all levels from the Ministry to the commune-level police, in which the inspection committees at all levels are the core.

* On the afternoon of November 17, at a meeting with General Director of Haeco Group (a member of Swire Group) Richard Sell, Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh affirmed that Vietnam supports and calls on foreign investors to invest in high-tech industries and fields.

Welcoming Mr. Richard Sell's visit and work with the desire to promote and expand cooperation and investment activities in Vietnam, the Deputy Prime Minister asked Haeco Group to complete investment procedures in Van Don; pay attention to training and using local human resources because Vietnamese workers are capable of undertaking and performing tasks in the high-tech field. Wishing the group to continue promoting investment in areas where the group has strengths and Vietnam has demand, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the Vietnamese Government is ready to create the most favorable conditions for Swire Group and its member corporations, including Haeco, to invest and do business long-term and effectively in Vietnam.

* On November 17, at the Government Office, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son, Chairman of the Vietnam-China Bilateral Cooperation Steering Committee, received Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Ha Vi. Appreciating the recent cooperation between Ambassador Ha Vi and the Chinese Embassy in promoting exchanges and cooperation between the two countries, the Deputy Prime Minister hoped that the two sides would continue to coordinate well in implementing high-level foreign affairs activities and well organize the 17th meeting of the Vietnam-China Bilateral Cooperation Steering Committee to review the cooperation situation, agree on directions and measures to continue to concretize and effectively implement the common perception between the leaders of the two Parties and the two countries.

The Deputy Prime Minister suggested that the two sides give high priority to railway cooperation, ensuring the start of construction of the Lao Cai-Hanoi-Hai Phong route in 2025; soon sign a protocol to open the market for Vietnamese agricultural products; expand the smart border gate model; create substantial changes in science and technology cooperation...

Ambassador Ha Vi affirmed that he will make efforts to coordinate and organize well high-level and all-level exchange activities; promote substantive cooperation contents between the two countries, contributing to building a China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future with strategic significance that is constantly developing in depth and effectively, bringing practical benefits to the people of the two countries.
