Nearing the Miss Universe 2025 final, Huong Giang is predicted to be in the top 20

(Dan Tri) - According to the latest evaluation table of beauty website Missosology, Huong Giang continues to be in the top 20 promising candidates, when the Miss Universe 2025 contest will end in just a few days.

Missosology ranked Huong Giang 18th out of 20 in the predicted list. The most highly rated and likely winner is the contestant from Turks & Caicos, followed by Thailand, Lebanon, Mexico...

Meanwhile, the Sash Factor website did not include Huong Giang in the top 30, ranking the Vietnamese representative at 34th place. The top candidates according to Sash Factor's predictions are from Venezuela, India, Ivory Coast, Ecuador, Colombia, Thailand...

Currently, Huong Giang and 122 contestants have returned to Bangkok (Thailand) to enter important rehearsals, preparing for the national costume show, semi-finals and finals. This is the final stage of the biggest beauty pageant on the planet.

Swimsuit not yet exploded, private interview regains form

Before that, Huong Giang had completed her swimsuit performance and a private interview with the judges. At the outdoor swimsuit show, the beauty said she was “a bit nervous” so she could not show her full form.

However, beauty sites such as Missosology and Sash Factor still listed Huong Giang as one of the representatives with notable swimsuit performances. The official Facebook page of Miss Universe 2025 also posted her photo.

During the closed interview, Huong Giang showed confidence and initiative. She used an interpreter to listen to the questions but answered completely in English, without any assistance. Huong Giang said she did not want to admit whether she did well or not, but wanted the judges to give an objective assessment.

Huong Giang revealed that she received the question: “If you only had 10 USD left in your pocket, what would you do?”. The beauty answered: “I would buy a cup of coffee. At that time, I need to be alert to think about what I should do next.” The beauty’s answer was praised by the online community as being delicate, intelligent and skillful.

Huong Giang added: “I think this question is not right or wrong. When a person loses everything, only has 10 USD left, in the darkest moments, people can easily make wrong decisions. Therefore, the most important thing is to be alert to know what to do to overcome the situation.”

First Asian transgender beauty at Miss Universe

During more than 2 weeks of competition, Huong Giang attracted great attention from domestic and international media when she became the first Asian transgender woman to participate in Miss Universe.

She creates sympathy thanks to her professionalism, confidence, friendliness, always appearing neat with an elegant and sexy fashion style.

Currently, Huong Giang is in the group of contestants with high votes in the categories: Beyond The Crown (Social Project), Most Beautiful People (Inspiring Beauty), People's Choice (Most Favorite Contestant).

Huong Giang was announced as Vietnam's representative in September. According to the Miss Universe Vietnam Organization, she is a testament to the courage, resilience and talent of modern Vietnamese women.

The singer and beauty queen also affirmed that she did not participate in the contest to seek fame, but wanted the world to see that "someone like her can also be elegant and beautiful", thereby changing public perception.

Miss Universe Organization President Raúl Rocha Cantú said that this year's competition will have four main judging rounds: Closed Interview, National Costume, Evening Gown, and Swimsuit. The semi-finals will take place on November 19 and the final will be held on November 21.
