MM Mega Market Vietnam Co., Ltd. (MMVN) opened MM Supercenter Da Nang Shopping Center, MM Mega Market's first shopping center project in Vietnam.
Located in Hoa Khanh ward, on a land area of nearly 20,000m², MM Supercenter Da Nang, with an investment of 20 million USD, is one of the key projects in MMVN's expansion strategy in the Vietnamese market.

The project consists of three floors, gathering nearly 50 domestic and international brands such as CGV Cinema, Highlands Coffee, Phuc Long, Thai Siam Kitchen, Jollibee, Lotteria, Fahasa Bookstore, Guardian, Oh! Some, Mr. DIY... combining a supermarket, a food court and an entertainment area of thousands of square meters, bringing an "all-in-one" experience to local customers and tourists.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Duc Toan - CEO of MM Mega Market Vietnam - shared: "The event marks an important milestone of MM Mega Market Vietnam in the journey of more than 20 years of contributing to the development of the country, when we officially expanded the model from a wholesale - retail chain, developing a multi-functional commercial center, integrating shopping - culinary - service - entertainment utilities".
Representative of Da Nang government, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, commented: "This project is of great significance, not only adding a modern shopping and service point for Da Nang city residents but also contributing to promoting retail trade, increasing convenience and comfort for the living environment, meeting the needs of the city's residents. The project creates a driving force for socio -economic development for Hoa Khanh ward, an area that is changing strongly with a series of key infrastructure projects".

The strategic location at the northwest gateway of the city helps MM Supercenter Da Nang to be oriented to become MMVN's main distribution center in the Central region, contributing to shortening the journey of goods, optimizing logistics costs and strengthening supply chain connectivity in the region.
“Green - Digital - Sustainable” development strategy
MM Supercenter Da Nang is a symbol of the green economic orientation and comprehensive digitalization that MM Mega Market pursues in Vietnam.
Specifically, the project is designed to meet the EDGE Advanced Green Building standard (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) certified by IFC - a member of the World Bank Group.
MM Supercenter Da Nang is a pioneer in applying energy-saving, emission-reducing and operational-optimizing solutions, including smart lighting systems, water-saving equipment, advanced insulation materials and automated energy management technology. These solutions help the center significantly reduce electricity, water consumption and carbon emissions in materials.

At the same time, MMVN implemented comprehensive digital transformation at the center, with solutions such as cashless payment system, real-time customer data management, and MM Click & Get online shopping platform.
These improvements help improve operational efficiency, optimize user experience and contribute to realizing MMVN's vision of "Greening - Digitalization - Sustainability" across the system.
Accompanying Vietnamese products and local communities
MM Supercenter Da Nang affirms its deep commitment to the local community and the development of a sustainable Vietnamese goods supply chain. Upholding the commitment to “Accompanying Vietnamese goods for sustainable development”, more than 90% of products at the hypermarket are of Vietnamese origin, contributing to supporting the consumption of local products and promoting the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises.

The OCOP and local specialty area introduces more than 100 products located in a central location, eye-catchingly displayed to promote to international customers and tourists.
Previously, MMVN representatives signed a cooperation agreement with the People's Committees of Hoa Khanh and Hai Van wards, aiming to bring OCOP products and local specialties into the modern distribution system.

In addition to promoting the development of trade and service infrastructure, the project also creates job opportunities for nearly 500 local workers and creates new momentum for the retail economy in the Central region, which is witnessing rapid urbanization and increasing consumer demand.
At the opening event, MMVN, along with member companies of TCC Group, BJC in Vietnam and contractor partners, donated 425 million VND to the People's Committee of Da Nang City to support people affected by natural disasters in the locality in the spirit of "Joining hands for the community".
