K-Digital Busan 2025 Promotion Delegation Achieves Over 31 Million USD in Consulting in Ho Chi Minh City

Busan Information Industry Promotion Institute (Korea) said that the program "K-Digital Busan - Vietnam 2025 Trade Promotion Delegation" recently held in Ho Chi Minh City has achieved many positive results, expanding opportunities for technological cooperation between Busan enterprises and the Vietnamese market.

The event was organized by the Busan Information Industry Promotion Institute in collaboration with the Busan Startup Business Association, with the participation of 10 Busan enterprises operating in the fields of AI, ICT, software, hardware and data solutions. Vietnamese partners include IT enterprises, digital transformation units and buyers looking for new technology solutions.

54 consulting sessions - over 31.4 million USD in transaction value

According to statistics from the organizing committee, 54 direct consulting sessions were conducted within the framework of the program. The total consulting value reached 31,415,000 USD; of which 12,960,000 USD was transferred to the contract signing promotion phase.

The sessions focused on areas in high demand in Vietnam such as AI applications in businesses, data optimization, SaaS platforms, IoT and management software systems. The strong interest of Vietnamese businesses in new technologies is considered a driving force for Busan businesses to expand cooperation opportunities.

Several businesses such as DoubleO, mBass and Latis Global signed memorandums of understanding at the event, aiming to test technology, integrate software and develop AI-based solutions suitable for the Vietnamese market.

Vietnam plays an important role in Busan's expansion strategy. Representatives of the Busan Information Industry Promotion Institute assessed Vietnam as a key market thanks to its stable economic growth rate, developing technology ecosystem and strong demand for digital transformation in many industries.

“This conference helps Busan businesses understand market needs and at the same time creates a foundation for expanding business activities in Vietnam. We will continue to accompany each other so that the cooperation results are maintained sustainably,” said the Institute representative.

In addition, Busan is developing the Centum Industrial Zone into a major technology hub in Korea, with the aim of supporting local businesses to access international markets. Vietnam is considered one of the priority destinations, especially in the fields of AI, Big Data and digital solutions for businesses.

Plan to expand cooperation in 2025According to the plan, the K-Digital Busan program will continue to be held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in 2025, focusing on technologies that are of interest to the Vietnamese market such as artificial intelligence, big data analysis, operational automation, SaaS and educational technology.

In addition to trade consultancy activities, the Busan delegation will implement product testing support programs, technology seminars, market surveys and investment connections to help businesses from both sides approach each other more effectively. Legal support, procedures and consultancy on establishing representative offices will also be enhanced.

The Busan Information Industry Promotion Institute said it will continue to step up business support through commercialization and investment promotion programs, aiming to help Busan businesses establish a long-term presence in Vietnam.

With a total consulting value exceeding 31.4 million USD and nearly 13 million USD in the process of signing, the K-Digital Busan 2025 promotion program is considered highly effective, contributing to promoting technology trade between Vietnam and Busan. The results from the conference will continue to be monitored to convert into practical cooperation, aiming to expand digital technology activities in 2025.
