Domestic pepper prices
Pepper prices in Dak Lak on the morning of November 18 were purchased at 146,000 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND compared to yesterday. This is one of the rare areas that recorded an increase in the context of the market being quite quiet in the past few days.
In Chu Se ( Gia Lai ), pepper price remained at 144,500 VND/kg and unchanged from yesterday. This area is currently trading stably, with no new signs of increase.
In Dak Nong , pepper price today reached 146,000 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg. The increase is equivalent to Dak Lak, showing a slight recovery trend in the Central Highlands region.
This morning, Ba Ria - Vung Tau region purchased pepper at 144,500 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND. Binh Phuoc also recorded a price of 144,500 VND/kg, an equivalent increase, showing that the Southeast region is having a general recovery.

At the working session on the morning of November 17, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Tran Nam Hung worked with the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association on the plan to organize the International Conference of the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Industry in 2026 (VIPO 2026).
According to Ms. Hoang Thi Lien, President of the Association, the event is expected to take place from March 3 to March 4, 2026 in Da Nang. This is the most important annual event of the Vietnamese pepper industry under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to expand exports and increase international position.
VIPO 2026 is expected to attract about 300 domestic and foreign delegates, including international organizations and import-export enterprises from more than 30 countries such as the US, Germany, the Netherlands, China, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc. Within the framework of the conference, Da Nang will have a booth introducing typical products such as pepper, cinnamon, chili and connecting businesses.
Ms. Lien said that Da Nang hosting VIPO for the first time is a great opportunity to promote the city's image and boost MICE tourism.

World pepper prices continue to stay high
According to the International Pepper Association (IPC), the most recent session recorded Lampung black pepper (Indonesia) at 7,108 USD/ton, Muntok white pepper at 9,745 USD/ton.
Brazil's ASTA 570 black pepper traded at $6,175 per tonne, while Malaysia maintained its ASTA black pepper price at $9,200 per tonne and white pepper at $12,300 per tonne.
Vietnamese pepper prices continue to be stable in the highlands: black pepper 500g/l at 6,400 USD/ton; 550g/l at 6,600 USD/ton; white pepper anchored at 9,050 USD/ton.
