Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Pham Duc An: Education and training must take learners as the center.

DNO - On the afternoon of November 17, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Committee Pham Duc An visited and congratulated Danang University of Architecture on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025).

Congratulating the entire staff and faculty of the school on Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20th, Chairman of the City People's Committee Pham Duc An acknowledged the school's efforts in training human resources for the city and the region in recent years.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the university to continue effectively implementing the resolutions of the Politburo , especially Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in education and training development; and to promote the role of the private university model in the city's higher education system.

At the same time, it should be noted that the school focuses on the quality of graduates, linking training with practical needs, designing flexible training programs, and meeting the requirements for high-quality human resources.

The city will continue to implement mechanisms and policies to support and create favorable conditions for non-public higher education institutions to develop sustainably and contribute effectively to the overall development of Da Nang.

"Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development has clearly defined that learners are at the center, schools are the foundation, and teachers are the driving force. Learning must go hand in hand with practice, theory must be linked to reality, and schools must be connected to society."

Therefore, schools need to continue innovating and strengthening the application of science and technology to serve teaching and learning, including groundbreaking innovations to train human resources not only for Da Nang, but also for the entire Central region," the Chairman of the City People's Committee emphasized.
