Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Pham Duc An: Education and training must take learners as the center.

DNO - On the afternoon of November 17, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Committee Pham Duc An visited and congratulated Danang University of Architecture on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025).

Congratulating the school's staff and lecturers on Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, Chairman of the City People's Committee Pham Duc An acknowledged the school's efforts in training human resources for the city and the region in recent times.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the school to continue effectively implementing the Politburo 's resolutions, especially Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in education and training development; promoting the role of the non-public university model in the city's higher education system.

At the same time, the school should focus on output quality, link training with practical needs, and design flexible training programs to meet the requirements of high-quality human resources.

The city will continue to have accompanying mechanisms and policies, creating conditions for non-public higher education institutions to develop sustainably, contributing effectively to the overall development of Da Nang.

“Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development has clearly defined that learners are the center, schools are the foundation, and teachers are the driving force. Learning must go hand in hand with practice, theory must be linked to reality, and schools must be linked to society.

Therefore, the school needs to continue to innovate and enhance the application of science and technology to serve teaching and learning, including breakthrough innovations to train human resources for not only Da Nang, but also the Central region," the Chairman of the City People's Committee emphasized.
