Landslides continue to appear in mountainous areas, many roads are partially cut off.

DNO - Due to the impact of prolonged heavy rain, the mountainous areas of Da Nang city continue to record landslides, seriously affecting traffic and people's lives.

* In Avuong commune, on the morning of November 17, Chairman of Briu Quan Commune People's Committee said that the locality recorded many large landslides at Km437+550 of Ho Chi Minh road through Cr'toonh village and Km433 (Xa'oi village), thousands of cubic meters of rock and soil from the positive slope continuously poured onto the road surface, causing complete traffic congestion.

Meanwhile, on route DT606, location Km7+500 in Adzoc village, landslides occurred seriously, making it impossible for vehicles to circulate.

Immediately after grasping the situation, Avuong commune coordinated with the management unit and functional forces to inspect the scene, mobilized machinery and human resources to urgently clear rocks and soil, and strived to soon open a temporary one-lane route to serve the travel needs of the people.

* In Hung Son commune, a section of road on DT606 (Km25+600) from Dinh Que to Tay Giang commune, the road surface has deep cracks, posing a very high risk of traffic safety.

Hung Son commune authorities recommend that people and vehicles limit travel when not really necessary; at the same time, be highly vigilant when passing through this area.

* In Thanh My commune, on the morning of November 17, local authorities recorded a serious landslide on Ho Chi Minh road through Thanh My commune.

At the top of the old District Military Command slope (Pa Dau 1 village), many trees fell down along with rocks and soil from the slope flowing onto the road, causing traffic congestion.

In addition, landslides also appeared on National Highway 14D and Ho Chi Minh Road through Ben Giang Commune, causing traffic difficulties.
