Dong Nai Province Red Cross Society presented 500 gifts to support people in disaster areas

DNO - Through the Red Cross Society of Da Nang city, on November 16, the Red Cross Society of Dong Nai province organized the presentation of 500 gifts to people in Tra Giap and Tra Tan communes affected by storm No. 12.

The delegation presented 200 gift packages to residents of Tra Giap commune and 300 gift packages to residents of Tra Tan commune; each package was worth 1 million VND, including 800,000 VND in cash and essential goods.

The entire funding was raised through social mobilization efforts by the Dong Nai Provincial Red Cross Society from the following organizations: Dong Nai University, Dong Nai Provincial Tax Department, Dong Nai Provincial Post Office , and the Long Thanh Social Charity Red Cross Branch.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, a representative of the Dong Nai Provincial Red Cross Society shared their condolences regarding the damage and losses suffered by the people of the two localities; expressing confidence that the people would soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives after the natural disaster.
