An Giang provincial leaders visited and presented gifts to educational facilities in Long Xuyen ward.

On the morning of November 17, Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy, along with a delegation of provincial departments, agencies, and Long Xuyen ward, visited and presented gifts to 3 educational establishments, on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20.

The delegation visited and learned about the teaching and learning situation at Le Quy Don Primary School, Ly Thuong Kiet Secondary School , and Thoai Ngoc Hau High School for the Gifted.

Thereby, grasp the difficulties in facilities, digital transformation activities, shortage of subject teachers, training and fostering of excellent students at schools... when operating a two-level local government.

All three schools are "bright spots" in the province's education sector, with a long history of outstanding achievements, contributing to the training of high-quality human resources at all levels. Therefore, in addition to efforts to maintain and promote the achievements of the school, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that localities, relevant departments and branches create maximum conditions in terms of facilities for schools to teach 2 sessions/day, and have playgrounds for students to exercise and play.

Regarding recommendations and difficulties of each school and locality, the Department of Education and Training is interested in resolving them as soon as possible.
