
According to the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province, due to the impact of prolonged heavy rain, from November 15 to 17, many locations on Prenn Pass (section in Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat) and National Highway 27C (section through Nam Khanh Vinh commune, Khanh Hoa province) have experienced serious landslides. Some locations are at risk of further landslides if not handled promptly.
Currently, the Department of Construction is coordinating with local authorities and functional forces to implement solutions and organize traffic flow to ensure traffic safety on both routes.
Traffic diversion on National Highway 27C
For traffic from Da Lat to Khanh Hoa, all vehicles going to Khanh Hoa via National Highway 27C are temporarily suspended. People are advised to move along alternative routes:
- Direction 1: Da Lat → National Highway 20 (Mimosa Pass) → Phi Nom Intersection → Turn left onto National Highway 27 → Khanh Hoa and vice versa.
- Direction 2: Da Lat → DT.725 (Ta Nung Pass) → Km31+020 → turn right onto National Highway 27 → Dak Lak → National Highway 26 → Khanh Hoa and vice versa.
- Direction 3: Da Lat → National Highway 20 (Mimosa Pass) → Dong Nai → National Highway 1A → Khanh Hoa and vice versa.
Traffic diversion on Prenn Pass
Currently, all people and vehicles are prohibited from passing through the section Km224+600 – Km224+700. Alternative routes to the center of Da Lat are as follows:
- In the direction of Mimosa Pass: All vehicles are allowed to move in two directions.
- In the direction of Tuyen Lam Lake road (Sacom Tuyen Lam pass): All vehicles, except trucks, are allowed to travel from Lien Khuong highway to Da Lat center and vice versa.
The traffic flow time is applied from November 17, 2025 until Lam Dong Department of Construction has a new announcement.
