At the same time, organize 24/7 on-duty at the construction site; monitor, track and evaluate the development of natural disasters, displacement, cracks, landslides at the construction site; organize traffic diversion, determine the cause and propose solutions for handling and repairing, ensuring immediate traffic without congestion.

Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Construction to maintain warnings at Prenn Pass, the current status of landslides, coordinate with project investors and survey units, propose solutions to advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue an emergency construction order; at the same time, assigned the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat to coordinate with relevant agencies to resolutely organize the relocation and immediate evacuation of households in the foothills, mountains, and areas with dangerous steep slopes in the above-mentioned landslide area.

According to the People's Committee of Lam Dong province, due to the impact of heavy rains, at about 9:00 a.m. on November 17, the Prenn Pass road from Da Lat to Ho Chi Minh City, from Km224+600 to Km224+700, a landslide occurred, about 7.5 m wide of the road surface and the negative slope retaining wall. Local authorities assessed that this area is at risk of further landslides if emergency response measures are not promptly taken.

As reported by VNA, on the morning of November 17, Prenn Pass (the gateway to Da Lat, Lam Dong) suffered a serious landslide near Datanla Bridge (in the middle of Prenn Pass). In this area, a series of large cracks appeared on the road surface, with the risk of further landslides in the coming days. On the same morning, the Traffic Police of Lam Dong Province Police set up checkpoints at both ends, diverted traffic, and directed vehicles to travel via Mimosa Pass or Sacom Pass (Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area) instead of Prenn Pass.
