The event organizers include the General Department of Defense Industry ( Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam) and the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam). The implementing unit is the Military Exhibition and Trade Promotion Center (General Staff, General Department of Defense Industry of Vietnam). The Vietnamese Embassy in Laos, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Laos are the sponsors of the event.
With nearly 120 standard booths (including 20 booths from Laos), the Fair has the participation of many large enterprises, prestigious brands in the region and internationally from Vietnam and Laos. The products on display and introduced are diverse and rich, meeting the consumer needs of Laos and ASEAN countries.
Within the framework of the Fair, there will be a program to promote products and connect trade. There are 26 enterprises of the Vietnam People's Army participating in the promotion, with 50 booths displaying and introducing economic products; 42 Vietnamese enterprises belonging to agencies, organizations and enterprises outside the Army participating, with 62 booths. At the same time, the Fair also has 20 booths displaying and introducing products of enterprises inside and outside the Lao Army, in which, Lao Army enterprises participate in 8 booths to display and introduce products.
In addition, there will be an investment promotion conference between businesses of the two countries, scheduled to be held on the morning of November 21, 2025. The event will be chaired by the Finance Department (Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam) and co-organized by the Military Exhibition Center.
Up to now, nearly 30 businesses have registered to participate in the trade connection program. During the official period of the Fair, it is expected that there will be 5-10 trade meetings in the field and online. After the Fair ends, the Standing Office of the Organizing Committee will continue to support the connection for businesses that need to register.
In addition, the Organizing Committee coordinated with agencies, units and enterprises to carry out political and social activities within the framework of the Fair such as: giving computers and printers to agencies under the Lao Ministry of Defense; giving gifts to policy families at the Opening Ceremony and giving gifts to Lao people who came to visit during the Fair.
The Organizing Committee also arranged the design of the exhibition area based on the principle of ensuring consistency in all designs, with the main color being the flag color, associated with the symbols of Thap Luong (Laos), Khue Van Cac (Vietnam) and the national flowers of Vietnam and Laos (lotus and champa flower), thereby highlighting the special solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
The Propaganda Department (General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army) presided over the implementation of "Vietnam Cultural Space" to display images and artifacts about solidarity and friendship in the war of national liberation, construction and development of the country between Vietnam and Laos.
The Art Troupe of Military Region 1 (Vietnam Ministry of National Defense) coordinated with the Art Troupe of the Lao Army to create a performance program at the Opening Ceremony and the Fair days with unique art performances imbued with the cultural identity of Vietnam - Laos; highlighting the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
