The 29th Information Brigade has many separate stations scattered in many areas, far from the command center, close to the border; the fiber optic transmission system spreads across localities in the Mekong Delta; the requirements for ensuring information and communication (TTLL) are increasingly high, the unit is equipped with many new information equipment and means... To successfully complete the assigned tasks, the Party Committee and the Brigade commander determined that, first of all, it is necessary to promote the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, Party organization, and cadres at all levels in the unit.

Party committees and organizations in the Brigade focus on improving the quality of resolutions issued to lead the implementation of tasks, and doing a good job of guiding, inspecting, and supervising the issuance of resolutions and their implementation. When the role and leadership quality of Party committees and the role of cadres, especially the cadres in charge, are promoted, it creates an important foundation for the unit to effectively direct and operate the information system proactively, flexibly, with quality and efficiency.

To contribute to the successful implementation of the task of ensuring TTLL, the Party Committee and Brigade commanders focus on leading and directing the improvement of the quality of training work, focusing on fostering and improving the qualifications of professional soldiers and technical staff, considering this an important measure.

Accordingly, the Brigade has promptly adjusted, supplemented and well implemented the planning of technical and professional staff, prioritizing the number of troops for units performing the task of ensuring regular TTLL, combat readiness, remote stations and stations and mobile technical teams. In addition, it has closely organized the rotation of technical and professional staff between units; improved professional qualifications to meet the requirements of assigned positions (training for transfer of levels and types); combined basic training with specialized training; effectively promoted the model of "3-good mobile information vehicle crew" (good mobility to ensure good TTLL, good professional qualifications, good discipline), enhanced mobility, flexibility, outdoor activities and joint training, and coordination to ensure TTLL.

Based on the assigned functions and tasks, the Party Committee and Brigade commanders lead and direct the strengthening of the information system; strictly maintain the order and regime of command, on-duty, combat duty, and TTLL duty; organize and arrange on-duty shifts in a scientific and tight manner; consolidate, build, and adjust the appropriate system of combat documents; closely coordinate with the TTLL units of the Ministry of National Defense stationed in the area, units of the Military Region's armed forces, especially units facing the sea, islands, and the Southwest border... Thanks to that, the communication rate reached 99.97%, the accuracy rate was 100%, 7/7 means of communication were excellent; dispatches and documents were sent and received promptly and absolutely safely.

Along with that, the Party Committee and Brigade commanders regularly pay attention to and direct the technical assurance work, especially the management, exploitation and use of information equipment in the establishment and new modern information equipment, ensuring that it is always synchronous, complete, tight and safe; promoting the implementation of research and application of science and technology, promoting initiatives and technical improvements in performing the task of ensuring TTLL. In 2025, the Brigade had many initiatives that were effectively applied in performing tasks, such as: Shortwave radio transmitter power supply; improved 20-digit switchboard; telephone codename training software...

With specific and effective leadership and direction policies and measures, in 2025, the Brigade was proposed by the Military Region to be awarded the "Excellent Unit in the Emulation Movement" flag by the Ministry of National Defense, and the Party Committee was proposed to be classified as "Excellently Completing the Task". This is the basis and confidence for the officers and soldiers of the Brigade to continue to strive to excellently complete their tasks in the coming time.
