Closing ceremony of the 20th Mass Arts Festival of the 9th Military Region Armed Forces in 2025

(CTO) - On November 14, Military Region 9 closed the 20th Military Region 9 Armed Forces Mass Arts Festival in 2025. Lieutenant General Ho Van Thai, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Military Region 9, attended the closing ceremony.

The 20th Mass Arts Festival of Military Region 9 in 2025, with the theme "Song of the Marching Steps", took place from November 10 to 14. The festival had 20 participating groups, gathering about 700 cadres, choreographers, singers, actors, musicians and technical staff. The groups brought to the festival 103 performances praising the glorious Party, great Uncle Ho, the Vietnam People's Army, the heroic Military Region 9; praising the homeland and the country's innovation and development; reflecting the military and defense tasks of the Military Region 9 forces...

The Organizing Committee proposed that the Head of Military Region 9 Command decide to award the following prizes: 6 excellent programs, 11 good programs and 6 fair programs; 30 A-prize winning performances, 50 B-prize winning performances and 7 excellent authors and actors. Of which, Can Tho City Military Command won the overall excellent award, with 4 A-prize winning performances and 1 B-prize winning performance.
