Nha Nam Publishing House launches a book series commemorating its 20th anniversary.

This collection, selected by Nha Nam from thousands of representative works published over the past 20 years, is divided into four thematic groups: Vietnamese literature, culture, and history; foreign literature; philosophy and the meaning of life; and science and politics .

Among these, the most outstanding is "Dang Thuy Tram's Diary," first published in 2005. The diary of the female doctor who sacrificed her life in the resistance war against the US was returned by a former American soldier. Its fiery entries touched millions of readers. The diary was passed around and read, becoming a widespread political movement emulating the young doctor Dang Thuy Tram. Nha Nam Publishing House contributed significantly to this remarkable achievement, with half a million copies quickly distributed.

Readers will encounter titles that were once phenomena, such as "The Story of a Cat Who Taught a Seagull to Fly" (Luis Sepúlveda), "Lolita" (Vladimir Nabokov), "How Much Is Youth Worth?" (Rosie Nguyen), "A Fleeting Moment of Brilliance in the World" (Ocean Vuong), "Slow Down in a Hasty World" (Venerable Hae-min)... And, of course, classics like "The Alchemist" (Paulo Coelho), "Norwegian Wood" (Haruki Murakami), or "The Little Prince" (Antoine de Saint-Exupéry).

In the field of Vietnamese culture and literature, Nha Nam introduces to readers: "Poetry of Tran Dan", "A Thousand Years of Clothing and Headwear" (Tran Quang Duc), "Echoes of a Bygone Era" (Nguyen Tuan), "History of Vietnam from its Origins to the Mid-20th Century" (Le Thanh Khoi), "Vietnamese Civilization" (Nguyen Van Huyen)...

All 20 titles feature matching hardcovers with gold foil stamping. Each title is released in a limited edition of 1,000 numbered copies, bearing the Nha Nam 20th anniversary seal. Therefore, each book is unique, becoming a meaningful collectible and commemorative keepsake.

Poet Nguyen Quang Thieu, President of the Vietnam Writers Association, likened this set of 20 books to "a DNA sequence establishing Nha Nam's thoughts, perspectives, aesthetics, and aspirations regarding books," equipping readers with many fundamental issues in education , aesthetics, philosophy, religion, literature, etc. "Nha Nam, with its approach, has contributed to promoting the development of book publishing and reading in Vietnam," shared poet Nguyen Quang Thieu.

Nha Nam entered the Vietnamese book market in February 2005 with Dai Tu Kiet's "Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress," receiving considerable attention and affection from readers. Particularly after the resounding success of "Dang Thuy Tram's Diary"—with nearly 500,000 copies sold, breaking all previous publishing records, and generating significant social and public impact—Nha Nam quickly established its brand.

Nha Nam's books are distinguished by their literary content and beautiful design. Literature and non-fiction books (history, philosophy, science , books on social issues, contemporary culture, educational books, reference books, life philosophies, etc.) are Nha Nam's strengths. Over the past 20 years, Nha Nam's books have won numerous prestigious awards, especially the Good Book Award, the National Book Award, and the Vietnam Writers Association Award.
