Timely rescue of 3 Russian tourists trapped in flood area

At 6:20 p.m. on November 17, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department (PCCC) and Rescue Police Department (CNCH) of Khanh Hoa Province Police received an urgent report: 3 Russian tourists including: Vyatkin Anton Evgenyevich (born in 1993), Vyatkina Olesya Sergeevna (born in 2000) and Tsvetkova Lyudmila Lvovna (born in 1963), were trapped by rising floodwaters, unable to move on their own in the area near D30 Street, Tay Nha Trang Ward. One of them showed signs of serious exhaustion due to an underlying illness.

Immediately after receiving the information, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Khanh Hoa Province Police urgently mobilized a working group of 6 officers and soldiers along with specialized vehicles to approach the scene in deep flood conditions. By 20:30 on the same day, the force had overcome the strong current, successfully approached and brought all 3 Russian tourists to a safe area.

In addition to the rescue, the soldiers also promptly assisted the group of tourists in contacting their relatives, coordinated with medical staff to provide first aid on the spot for Ms. Tsvetkova Lyudmila Lvovna, and called a taxi to take the group to a hotel in Nha Trang ward as requested.

The prompt and responsible actions of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Khanh Hoa Province received deep thanks from the Russian tourist group. The representative of the tourist group expressed gratitude to the officers and soldiers who promptly responded to the emergency situation.
