Free medical examination for thousands of workers and laborers

Nghe An is the first province in the country to implement a plan to provide free medical examinations for 15,000 workers and laborers in 7 provinces and cities.

On November 17, at VSIP Industrial Park, the Labor Relations Department (Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - Vietnam General Confederation of Labor), the Department of Building the Homeland Security Movement ( Ministry of Public Security ), and Conway Joint Stock Company organized a free health examination and consultation program for workers and laborers; at the same time, mobilized workers to actively participate in the movement of All People Protecting Homeland Security (ANTQ).

This is the opening activity of Plan 2146, aiming to provide free medical examinations for 15,000 workers in 7 provinces and cities, to be completed in the first quarter of 2026.

In recent times, the police force has accompanied the working class through many activities of law dissemination, building the model of "Workers for National Security", "Safe Enterprise - Happy Workers", self-managed Security and Order teams in industrial parks; along with social security programs such as free medical examination, housing and livelihood support, and care for workers in difficulty. These activities contribute to building a safe and stable working environment and spreading the movement of the whole people protecting Security and Order in enterprises.

Mr. Cao Nguyen Hung, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation, said: "Nghe An is honored to be one of the 7 localities selected to implement the program. In Nghe An, the activity takes place over 5 days (November 17-21, 2025), with 2,000 union members and workers at VSIP Industrial Park receiving free medical examinations."

The medical examination package worth 1.9 million VND/person includes blood cancer screening test, Thalassemia screening, ultrasound, general internal examination... The program helps workers detect early disease risks, while also integrating propaganda to prevent crime, black credit, social evils and raise awareness of self-protection.

Mr. Hung affirmed that this is a humane activity, demonstrating the concern of the Party, State, Ministry of Public Security and Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the working class; helping workers feel secure at work, contributing to the development of the province.
