On the afternoon of November 16, in Hanoi, Politburo member, Standing Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Van Chien attended the ceremony to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day and National Great Unity Day at Hanoi University of Industry.

Also attending were: Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Ethnic Council Lam Van Man; Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Health Vu Manh Ha; Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hoang Long; representatives of leaders of agencies, ministries, branches, localities, organizations, enterprises; leaders, former leaders, staff, lecturers, and outstanding students of Hanoi University of Industry.

Speaking at the ceremony, National Assembly Standing Vice Chairman Do Van Chien highly appreciated the Party Committee and Board of Directors of Hanoi University of Industry for their initiative to organize the Vietnam Teachers' Day celebration in conjunction with the Great Unity Day "two in one" because these two days take place at the same time and are the spiritual pillars of Vietnamese culture.

The organization has many meanings such as: reviewing the history of the tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front along with reviewing the history of the formation and development of the School; showing gratitude to generations of teachers and those who have contributed to building the School; social security activities every year, helping teachers and students in difficult circumstances; cultural and sports activities, connecting the community, bonding teachers, students and trainees together; connecting alumni of the School through the periods; praising and rewarding groups and individuals with outstanding achievements.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly stated that Hanoi University of Industry is one of the leading universities with a long tradition and prestige in the field of training high-quality technical and economic human resources to serve the country's industrialization and modernization.

Over 127 years of construction and development, the School has trained hundreds of thousands of cadres with university, master's and doctoral degrees to meet the demand for high-quality human resources for economic and social sectors.

Among them, many alumni of the School have become senior leaders of the Party and the State, and have gone down in history; many alumni have studied and strived to become core cadres, holding important positions of the Party and the State in ministries, departments, and branches at the central and local levels. Many alumni have become managers of large enterprises, many have become successful businessmen, scientists, professors, doctors, People's Teachers, Meritorious Teachers, Heroes of the Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor...

On this occasion, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, the Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly acknowledged, congratulated and thanked the proud contributions of teachers and students of Hanoi University of Industry to the cause of national liberation struggle, construction and defense of the Fatherland.

Our country is entering an era of national development, building a prosperous, prosperous, civilized and happy country. Recently, the Politburo has issued many very important and strategic resolutions, creating strong motivation, removing difficulties and obstacles, mobilizing all resources to build and develop the country.

Firstly , comprehensively innovate the content and training program, ensuring that theoretical training is closely linked with practice, and that new problems arising from practice at school are solved.

Fifth , build a network, connect entrepreneurs, businesses, managers, and successful alumni of the school to survey and understand what the human resource market needs and what practical requirements are in order to adjust the content, program, and training methods accordingly.

Sixth , building the cultural identity of Hanoi University of Industry "unity, creativity, quality, integration, linked with production and business".

At the same time, it will arouse students' enthusiasm for learning and scientific research, adapting to the modern educational environment associated with digital transformation in all activities of social life.
