This year's contest attracted 51 entries, of which 24 excellent entries were selected for the final round.
The performances focused on four main themes: gratitude to teachers, friendship and school; praise of the homeland; youthful enthusiasm and cultural colors - folk art. Students from grades 10, 11, and 12 performed in a variety of genres such as singing, dancing, musicals, ensembles, etc. All were seriously invested in content, technique, costumes, and staging.
The preliminary round will take place on November 13, selecting the most outstanding performances to enter the final night, held at 6 p.m. on November 16 at Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theater. Before that, the teams will run the stage in the morning of the same day.
The jury includes artists and music experts from the Vietnam Musicians Association, the University of Education - Danang University and the Cao Tien Music Institute to ensure professionalism and objectivity.
The award structure includes categories for each genre: singing - accompaniment, dancing - dancing, musical, with First, Second, Third and Encouragement prizes; at the same time there are separate awards for the movement prize.
The contest is not only an activity to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day but also an artistic playground to help students exchange, express their talents, nurture their love of music and solidarity.
